## What is Apex Connect+?

Control and monitor all your Apex MCU® smart devices from anywhere around the world. Apex Connect+ lets you control all your devices and provides precise location and notification engines that allows you to build complex automations with ease.

Apex Connect+ requires an iPhone running iOS 12.0 or later and a configured Apex MCU instance. The instance must use Apex CLOUD to function if external access is required.

Bug Fixes:

- Prevents loading the WebView when launching the app in the background. This should reduce bandwidth, memory, and battery usage of e.g. location updates that launch the app.
- Fixes a rare crash when sensors update and doing other network requests.
- Fixes some cases where the app would use a lot of on-disk storage unnecessarily.

### 2023.3 — 2023-02-13

- Updates the login authentication screen to be a little more reliable
- Allows trusting otherwise-invalid TLS certificates when setting up a server
- Updates Material Design Icons to 7.0.96.
- Improves error messages when secure connections fail when setting up a server

Bug Fixes:

- Fixes navigation bar (to cancel, save, go back, etc.) not appearing in Settings on macOS 13.
- Fixes the device name reporting "iPad" on macOS 13.
- Fixes incorrectly using the hardware address of Wi-Fi to determine internal URL by default.
