## What is Apex GP?

Apex GP is a ride telemetry app built around one flow: start a session, see live GPS speed, G‑load, and a map on a clear dashboard that works in portrait and landscape. Choose car to jump straight in, or motorcycle—after a short phone stabilization pass you also get lean angles (pitch and roll) alongside G‑force and the route. Sprint-style interval timers and speed-threshold cues help you read the moment without hunting for small numbers, and you can tap to hide chrome when you want a cleaner full-screen view. Motion-based values depend on the iPhone’s sensors; if the screen is off or the app is in the background, the system may pause motion while GPS and the track can often keep recording—worth knowing before you rely on every channel.

When you finish, Apex GP opens a post-ride summary: duration, average and peak speed, and average / peak |g| with sensible handling at crawl speeds. You get charts for speed and G over time, plus a route view colored by speed or G along the path. From there you can open a full-screen map to pan and zoom, scrub along the route to inspect a moment, and play back the recorded line so the ride is easy to revisit and understand—not just a list of numbers.

Your trips accumulate in history with totals in statistics and highlights in profile (including a nickname stored on the device). When iCloud is available for your Apple ID, trip history can sync across your devices; otherwise everything stays on this iPhone. There’s no mandatory account inside the app—just your rides, your maps, and your charts, kept as local as possible unless you choose the iCloud path.
