## What is Apex Sports Coach?

Every tennis app tells you what the ball did. Apex tells you what your body did — and exactly what to fix.

Apex is a technique measurement tool built on a real biomechanics engine. Record one swing with your phone, and Apex analyzes your body's movement frame by frame, then scores your mechanics against reference data from professional players.

THE MODERN TENNIS SCORE

One number out of 100 for your forehand, backhand, or serve — built from five measured dimensions of your technique:

- Preparation: unit turn and take-back timing
- Rotation: hip and shoulder drive through the swing
- Contact: where and how you meet the ball
- Balance: posture and stability through the stroke
- Recovery: how you reset for the next ball

It's a technique number the way a handicap is a golf number: portable, comparable, and trackable. Re-score the same stroke next month and see exactly which dimension moved.

SEE WHAT TO CHANGE

Apex analyzes your biomechanics frame by frame and shows you how to improve: where your body was at contact, which dimension cost you the most, and what a better version of that movement looks like, drawn over your own video.

COACHING THAT POINTS AT ONE THING

After each analysis, Apex identifies the highest-impact issue in your stroke and explains it in plain language — grounded in your measured numbers, not generic tips. Choose the coaching voice that suits you, from technical to encouraging.

TRACK YOUR CLIMB

Every analysis is saved. Watch your score trend by stroke and by dimension, climb the levels from Beginner to Elite, and earn badges for real mechanical milestones like Early Unit Turn and ATP Rotation.

SHARE THE NUMBER

Export a score card or a short clip and send it to your hitting partner, your coach, or the group chat — with your coach's one-line read on the swing attached. "My forehand: 72" starts a better conversation than "I think it's getting better."

WHAT APEX IS NOT

Apex is not a match tracker, a line caller, or a shot counter — other apps do that well. Apex is for practice: it measures your technique, shows you the gap, and tells you what to work on. It's the measurement layer between lessons, not a replacement for your coach.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Set up your phone with the guided capture wizard — any court, no extra hardware
2. Record a few swings
3. Get your Modern Tennis Score in minutes, with subscores and coaching

PRICING

Apex starts with 5 free credits. After that it is pay as you go: 1 credit analyzes a session and returns your five best strokes, 5 credits unlocks every stroke in that session, and 1 credit runs a premium AI analysis. Buy credits in packs of 5, 10 or 100, or take an unlimited pass for 30 days, 90 days or a year. Nothing auto-renews, and sharing is always free.

### 4.3 — 2026-10-23

Watch first, then analyze
• Tap any shot in a session to watch its clip, analyzed or not. The wand analyzes it.
• Each shot shows what it has: a wand for a Premium analysis, a coach's photo for a coach's notes.
• Pin your favorite shots. Pinned shots come first.

Hitting partners
• Tag the people you play with and send them their shots. They're told when new shots arrive.
• Partners has its own page under your picture, with each partner's details.

Help when you need it
• Every session and stroke has Help at the bottom right, explaining that screen.
• Something in an analysis doesn't make sense? Tap "I'm confused" and tell us.
• Request a coach's analysis of any stroke, free.
• A coach's notes now show their picture. Tap it to see who they are.

Credits and passes
• Buy credits and Unlimited passes in the new Store.
• When a pass is active, its icon in the header shows it.

Sessions and recording
• Sessions load faster, and a shot opens on its picture straight away.
• Shots past a recording's limit stay on your phone for 30 days. Pick which ones to send.

Also
• A new look: a new typeface and lighter icons throughout.
• During a phone call, a clip says it can't play instead of doing nothing.
• Rate Apex from the menu.
• Clip times read to hundredths of a second.
• Fixed stroke lists that repeated or skipped shots, and pictures that went black after a while.
