## What is ApexVision Trainer?

ApexVision Trainer is visual and cognitive performance training for racers, sim racers and gamers — the people whose results come down to what they see and how fast they act on it.

Ten training modules. Every result is timed, scored and saved on your device.

VISUAL CALIBRATION
Warm Up — five eye-tracking patterns at your own speed: Focus Pull, Double Dot, Odd One Out, Color Merge and Flash Grid. Eyes only, twenty seconds, no tapping. Free, always.

CORE TRAINING
Circle Scan — find numbered targets in order. Trains scanning speed, search control and visual discipline.
Pressure Match — match the ink color, not the word, against the clock.
Race Start — practice launches on sequential start lights or a live flagger, with randomized hold times and false-start detection.
Ghost Track — a few dots light up, then every dot on the field looks identical and starts moving. Hold the right ones in your head and pick them out when it stops. One to four targets.

NEURO TRAINING
Cross-Wire — chase a target with one hand while your off hand runs a finger sequence, to measure the cost of dual-tasking.
Crossfire Reach — tap left-side targets with your right hand and vice versa, across the midline.
Split Signal — track a moving target while catching target letters in a spoken stream.
Rule Break — match the color or the word, and the rule flips on you mid-round.
Echo Sequence — repeat a growing sequence of lit pads, forward or in reverse.

TODAY'S TRAINING
A guided four-exercise session that runs you from visual calibration through launch timing, decision accuracy and target hold, chaining one exercise into the next.

TRACK WHAT CHANGES
Personal bests for every module. Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum tiers with a separate ladder for each difficulty, so grinding the easy setting is not a shortcut. Session history, training streaks, and a breakdown of every module you have worked on.

THREE DIFFICULTIES
Easy, Medium and Hard change the work, not just the clock. Circle Scan runs 10 targets on Easy and 20 on Hard. Pressure Match gives you less time and more colors as you climb.

FREE AND PRO
Warm Up, Medium difficulty and your last three sessions are free. ApexVision Pro is one payment, not a subscription, and unlocks all nine scored modules, Easy and Hard difficulty, and your last fifty sessions.

No account. No sign-up. Your training data stays on your device.

### 5/5 — Great for Reaction Time and Soccer Training

*2026-09-26*

My kids and I have been using ApexVision Trainer and we really enjoy it. Both of my kids play competitive soccer, so I like using it with them to work on reaction time, focus, awareness, and quick decision-making. I use it myself too, and it’s challenging enough to keep all of us engaged. It’s easy to use, fun, and you can actually feel yourself getting quicker with practice. Definitely a great addition to our training routine!”

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2.0 — 2026-09-25

A full redesign of how you move around the app — plus everything built for 1.1.2, which never shipped.

REDESIGNED
• Three screens instead of one long scroll: Dashboard, Train, Progress.
• Today's Training is a guided session you can actually run. It chains one exercise straight into the next.
• Train splits into Core and Neuro. Module cards are down to the one number that matters.
• Progress holds your personal bests, a module-by-module breakdown, achievements and your full history.
• Results screens lead with one dominant number instead of a list.
• A short celebration when you earn a new tier.

NEW TRAINING
• Ghost Track — multiple-object tracking. One to four targets, five rounds.
• Two new warm-up patterns: Focus Pull and Color Merge. Single Dot and Track a Color retired.
• Double Dot now rotates which pair you are tracking, with no warning.
• Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum achievements, on a separate ladder for each difficulty.

FIXED
• Warm Up makes it obvious it is eyes only — a 3-2-1 card before it starts, and a badge on the field the whole way through.
• The training field re-measures itself when the screen changes size, so folding or rotating mid-drill no longer strands the targets.
• Ghost Track sessions show their name in your history instead of "undefined".
• Module and drill counts are read from the app instead of typed onto the screen, so they can't go stale again.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-25

NEURO TRAINING — five new drills

Cross-Wire, Crossfire Reach, Split Signal, Rule Break and Echo Sequence load your attention while you perform, then measure what that load actually costs you: dual-task cost, cross-body reach cost, and task-switching cost in milliseconds.

STREAKS AND BADGES

Train on consecutive days to build a streak, with milestone badges at 3, 7, 14, 30, 60 and 100 days.

ALSO IN THIS RELEASE

- Pro now keeps your last 50 sessions, up from 12
- Fixed session values being cut off in portrait
- Fixed the Race Start button being unreachable in landscape

### 1.0 — 2026-08-20
