## What is Aplomo?

Aplomo is your training room for standing up for what you think. You speak out loud against an AI rival that pushes back with counterarguments — and walk into your next meeting, interview or presentation with clearer ideas and more composure.

HOW IT WORKS
• Pick a scenario — ask for a raise, justify a budget, handle "it's too expensive", pitch skeptical investors, set a boundary — or describe your own situation and the AI builds the rival for you.
• State your position out loud, like in a real conversation.
• The AI rival argues back out loud, round by round. Choose 2, 3 or 5 rounds: a session takes about 3–6 minutes.
• At the end you get a verdict on five skills — reasoning, clarity, persuasion, delivery and resilience — with what you did well and what to fix next.

WHY IT HELPS
• Build composure: the more you practice, the less your voice shakes when it matters.
• Learn to structure arguments and handle objections on the fly.
• See objective metrics from what you said: pace, filler words, hedging and long sentences.
• A daily challenge, streaks, levels and badges keep you coming back, and your progress is charted skill by skill.

PITCH MODE
Rather speak without interruptions? Pitch mode scores your talk with no rival and tells you how to make it better.

JOB INTERVIEW SIMULATOR · PRO
Enter the role and, if you like, the company. An AI interviewer runs a realistic four-phase interview (about 15–25 minutes) and ends with a report based on the STAR method.

YOUR AI TRAINING PLAN · PRO
Whenever you ask, the AI reviews your recent sessions, finds your two weakest skills and builds a plan with a phrase to practice.

FREE AND PRO
Free: 2 sparring sessions a day (with a rival or in pitch mode), 13 of the 18 library scenarios and your first custom AI scenario — plus scores, verdicts, voice metrics, streaks, history and progress.
Aplomo Pro, an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription: unlimited sessions, the job interview simulator, every library scenario, unlimited custom AI scenarios and your AI training plan.
New subscribers get a 3-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when the trial ends, or when you confirm the purchase if you're not eligible for the trial. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before it ends. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID account settings.

AI AND PRIVACY
The rival, the interviewer, your scores and your plan are generated by AI and can get things wrong; you can report any AI content from the app. If the AI can't score a session, you can retry or save it unscored — Aplomo never makes up a score.
Aplomo never records or stores your audio: Apple's speech recognition turns your voice into text, and the app only uses that text. Before the first AI request, Aplomo asks your permission to send that text — never your name or your audio — to a third-party AI provider. No account needed: your history stays on your iPhone, and you can withdraw consent or erase your history from Profile.

Works in English and Spanish.

Train your composure. Defend your ideas.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3.1 — 2026-10-03

Maintenance update: small improvements and fixes.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-09-28

New in Profile: "Ad tracking" shows whether you've allowed Aplomo to track your activity on this iPhone, and lets you change it anytime. If you say no, the app works exactly the same. What you say, your scenarios and your scores are never part of it.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-09-26

Aplomo now speaks English: the app, the AI rival, your verdicts, voice metrics and American voices. It follows your iPhone's language, and you can switch it in Profile.
• Before the first AI request, a clear screen explains what's shared with the AI and asks for your permission. Withdraw it anytime in Profile.
• If the AI can't score a session, retry or save it unscored — Aplomo never makes up a score.
• Report any AI content that seems off, right from the app.
• Your name is optional and never sent to the AI, and we no longer ask for your age.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-07-18
