The Apocrypha is a collection of ancient biblical books that were included in the original 1611 King James Bible (KJV) but were later removed in 1885. These texts were originally positioned between the Old Testament and the New Testament, alongside maps and genealogies. Some of these books are also known as Deuterocanonical books, a term used by the Catholic Church and other Christian traditions.

The 70 missing verses of 2 Esdras, which are not included in the King James Version Apocrypha, can be found in the Cambridge Annotated Study Apocrypha, edited by Howard C. Kee, and in the NRSV Holy Bible with Apocrypha, published by Oxford University Press.

This app is rare and I’m happy we have it due to being the Apocrypha but it’s search features for locating certain scriptures is non existent. I can recall many scriptures in conversation from the Apocrypha but many times I have re-read the entire text just to find the particular point I want to make. Develop a good search engine and you got yourself a number app!

This is a great app but when you read the scriptures on a chapter the top of the page is constantly going out where you can click on the book the chapter and go to the verse it’s not on the top it keep going and I’m have to refresh the app like delete it and open it again

What a scam… paid $4.99 to remove ads and STILL get banner ads across the bottom of each page. BUYER BEWARE!

**Developer response:** Hi, I don't have any Ads in the pro version. Not even a banner of any kind.

Update: I went thru my code again after seeing your comment, there is no code for ads in the app. The Pro version and the free version are two apps. When you install the Pro version, you need to open the Pro version, It will label "Pro" on the icon. That is the one with no ads. The free one will still have ads. I hope that solve your issue.

I’m wondering why is 2 Esdras missing verses in the 7th Chapter? Should go to 140 you have half of that chapter missing.  I didn’t pay for an app to have missing information.

**Developer response:** The 70 missing verses in 2 Esdras are not part of the King James Version Apocrypha, but are revealed in the Cambridge Annotated Study Apocrypha -edited by: Howard C. Kee. These verses are also available in the NRSV Holy Bible with the Apocrypha-by Oxford University Press. Thank you for using the app.
