Used this wireless hard drive for years and liked it kinda.  Not exactly the fastest thing in the world.  

Finally organized the mess and cleared the drive clean and changed the email associated with it and now it says invalid email after getting emails and being told it was changed.  Lol no idea.  But I backed all my items up to other drives and saying so long.  Slow only somewhat useful and also the need to have it hard wired in doesn’t appeal to me a ton either

Формально вроде работает, но таких кривых и неудобных программ я давно не встречал. 

Во-первых бесит что фото и видео при загрузке на диск переименовываются. Как потом разбирать что ты залил на диск а что по шнурку на компьютер я не знаю, получается какой-то лютый бардак. Функция не отключается, то есть об архиве фото с этим диском можно забыть. 

Во-вторых программа криво переведена. Выбираешь те же фото для загрузки и долго пытаешься понять что нажать дальше. «сделанный» - вот что. Похоже программу переводил Гугл транслейт. Часть софта осталась на английском, а часть надписей даже на итальянском, до сих пор не знаю что они значат: “compartido”, «Lector Interno”

В целом пользоваться всем этим очень сложно и неудобно. Был бы доступ по WebDAV или ещё какая возможность подключить стороннюю программу можно было бы пользоваться устройством через неё, а так совершенно бесполезная фигня, не знаю даже к чему бы её приладить.

I love my Apollo, don't get me wrong, but this software is so frustrating! I bought this specifically to share things on the go, and with the latest update, you can not do any sharing from the iOS app, still works on my MacBook, but it should work on iOS as well. Not happy with this latest update! Bring the sharing back to the app!

Die App funktioniert in Verbindung mit der Apollo Cloud zuverlässig und zeigt keine Probleme. Einzig der Medienplayer für Musik könnte mehr Feature bieten. Insgesamt fehlen Funktionen um ganze Verzeichnisse als offline Version auf dem lokalen Device abzulegen. Auch wünscht man sich ein paar mehr Ansichten und Sortiermöglichkeiten im Foto-Bereich. Insgesamt aber ein guter Start mit viel Potential nach oben.

Sur iOS 14 un bug: miroiter deux apollos impossible car blocage à l’ étape deux (envoi code). Et sur Mac Big Sure l’application ne fonctionne pas du tout: programme obsolète? Fonctionnait bien il y a une année. Regardez l’historique des updates et compatibilité des systèmes d’ exploitation  avant d’acheter.

I updated the app and I just can’t make it run. As soon as I open it... it crashes almost immediately. The firmware is up to date, everything looks fine. Wasted 40 minutes of my time live chatting with their live chat support and they could not give me an answer. I hope it’s a bug and they fix it soon.

I’m struggling each time to publicly share anything as through the app it seems impossible. When clicking ‘support’ it takes you to a page that doesn’t load. Website support just isn’t there when you need it.

I’ve uploaded Camera Roll and the folder says there’s 784 photos but on clicking the folder it’s empty and says ‘there are no photos on this Apollo’

I downloaded the app to my MacBook and the photos are there

I’ve been onto Support and under their advic relogged in and also reinstalled neither of which work

I think it’ll be taking the Apollo promise back on Monday.. it ‘promises’ but doesn’t deliver

Works on 1 out of 10 occasions. Really crap, can't download pictures away from home. Support is India.. I asked for the ports it requires.. they don't have a clue. GO AND BUY SYNOLOGY INSTEAD. My apollo is going in the bin.

When I first started uploading files it worked great or at least I was satisfied on its performance. 
Not sure if the software is updated to perform with all the newer updates thats has come out on PC & smartphone’s, but now when I try to upload photos, videos, music and all other types of files it just take too long.

I am not sure where those bad comments come. I am enginner and work across all country. Since I had my 2tb apollo at home and my app in ipad i can browse all my docs, movies, books and everything what is on my drive at home. I can even watch movies, read comic books and listen music which is 300 miles from my hotel.

Absolutely fantastic solution.

After a bit of a rough start, I have found my Apollo to work flawlessly. I do like it and see file downloading to be faster than other cloud options. I recommend this unit just make sure to fully understand the file structure and what to expect.

Basically this is the best iOS App of any NAS/Cloud HDD, but:
Password rules and 2FA should be standard for today’s data security! And why can not get all users push notifications for new comments on photos and files?
I hope there will be also higher capacities available soon, 8TB is very low, especially when you use RAID1 and make also TimeMachine Backups...

Ich kann inzwischen die Apollo-Cloud absolut empfehlen.
Austausch zwischen MAC und iOS funktioniert einwandfrei.

Das Sahnehäubchen wäre, wenn man die Fotos auch im Original- Format HEIC speichern könnte.
Bei der WD-cloud und beim FileBrowser funktioniert das!

Nur aufpassen Apple selbst hat ein nicht so richtig drauf. Wer wer „Dateien“ verwendet muss mit Datenverlust rechnen.
Das Problem liegt aber zu 100% bei Apple und Dateien.

UPDATE: it's fixed! Files are now viewable and browsable! Not sure why it took so long for them to show up.

I was using the Apollo as a way to play my music remotely. Now there is no way to browse and select by folder, you can only play audio files by searching by file name. I hope they add it back, the device is super-geared to photo and video sharing and is not great with much else after this "upgrade"-- I'm disappointed. Now it's just a hard drive.

When you choose HD setting for videos it remembers this setting, but when you choose HD setting for photos it goes back to the SD setting as soon as you choose “back” and then view another photo. Makes sense to give the user the option to keep the HD setting on for Photos all the time. Please fix.
