WEATHER GROUPS & ROUTE ANALYSIS

Your privacy is important! Apollo Weather may ask your permission to read workout data from the Health app. Workout data is used to let you add an optional route in Weather Groups. Apollo keeps all your data secure and on your device. Your data is never sold or shared with any other apps, services or networks.

Apolo weather has become my go to app when planning road bike rides. Love the group feature as I can see the forecast of several locations of the ride course ahead of time.

Thanks for the trial. I like the layout, but the temperature displayed doesn’t seem to be that accurate. It was great when it was sunny out, but it didn’t change much after it poured down raining for over an hour. I hope you add another weather source or process that updates more quickly. I’ll check back later.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback. Apollo gets weather data from Apple Weather. Forecasts within the app are refreshed every three minutes, and widgets are refreshed multiple times every hour. Apollo's true value lies in its unique features, such as Ideal Ratings and Weather Groups with route analysis.

I’ve been using this app from launch and it’s completely replaced other weather apps. I’m using it to plan all my outdoor activities.

Recently I’ve been using it to judge if I should take my dog to doggy daycare if it’s too rainy or cold. Being able to set what is optimal conditions for me has been more useful for daily life than even outdoor activities.

The premium option is totally worth it, something of a rarity with mobile apps lately.

What a great app!  This is my new “go to”.  In my work,  forecasting out and drilling down on the hourly specifics,  helps all of us determine the daily hours of operation for our outside bars. The wind details are a big plus as our outside bar location is a wind tunnel. Of course,  even more important is planning and scheduling the locations and times of all my rides with the ability to setup your ideal conditions at a glance perfection every time. My only suggestion is to add in pollen count for those of us that suffer allergies.

I'm an avid cyclist and plan my schedule around the weather… I've been using a couple other applications for the past 12 years and i find Apollo to be the best. I'm definitely not a high-tech person, and Apollo is very user-friendly and it is easy to find all the info that i need... i especially appreciate the accuracy of the hour to hour predictions.  Also, here in Florida, the real feel temperature is extremely important to me, as it is many times 10° warmer. Highly recommend this app.

I’m a pilot, weather geek, and avid cyclist. I usually like to delve into the minutiae of a weather forecast, EXCEPT when I’m preparing for a ride. For rides, I just want an at-a-glance quick eval of the conditions so I can easily make a go/no-go decision for myself and our cycling group. Apollo Weather does this eloquently. Its friendly user interface presents the data I need in a format that’s instantly informative while being easy on the eyes and brain. I LOVE that you can customize YOUR “ideal conditions” (temp, wind, precip, UV Index) and YOUR “active times.” Open the app and Apollo immediately tells you if conditions are within the ranges you’ve set. No deciphering, digging, or PhD needed! Apollo Weather bridges the gap between practical usability and powerful application. There are a myriad of weather apps available, but Apollo Weather has become my go-to for all my rides and all my day-to-day activities. It’s a must-have for runners, cyclists, or enthusiasts of any outdoor activity.

Definitely excellent app by design and feel. Only issue is that if there is no widget then it’s not worth taking space on your phone.

**Developer response:** Update: Thank you for the wait. Home screen widgets are available starting in version 1.2. Lock screen widgets will be available later in the second half of 2023.

Thanks for the feedback. As a solo developer, I had to cut some features from the initial release to launch and get feedback from users. However, I'm working on the next major release of Apollo, and Widgets will be included. I plan to have it released sometime in February or early March.
