App Cicerone is your digital travel guide — discover beaches, rivers, museums, and hidden gems wherever your next destination takes you.

cicerone (noun): a person who guides visitors to places of historical, cultural, or artistic interest. That's exactly what we built.

We're starting close to home: the Dominican Republic, mapped in detail across all 32 provinces — with more Caribbean countries on the way.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Explore Destinations — Browse 100+ tourist spots, from the most famous beaches to the most secret rivers.
Save Memories — Keep your favorite photos from every place you visit, and get notified when you're near a destination you've saved.
Real Reviews — Read authentic opinions from other travelers, and share your own experience.
Suggest New Places — Know a spot that's not in the app yet? Suggest it — including your GPS location with one tap — and help other travelers discover it.
Getting There — Practical info for every destination: entrance fees, parking, vehicle type recommendations, and how to get there from major cities.
Navigate Your Way — Get directions with Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze — whichever you already use.
Bilingual — All content available in Spanish and English.

Fixed an error when submitting a place suggestion
You can now add a place to your route before saving it, not just after
Redesigned bottom navigation with a cleaner, more minimal look

### 1.5 — 2026-08-28

New: Plan your route — build a custom itinerary by choosing what you want to visit, how many stops, and your pace (relaxed, normal, intense, or custom), and we'll generate a ready-to-follow route. Save it, reorder stops, or swap them out anytime.

You can now filter by region and pick multiple provinces at once, and start planning a route from Explore too.

Fixed an issue where opening a saved route could show a blank screen instead of the map and places, and polished several screens (saving a route, logging in, options menus) to look more consistent with the rest of the app.

In Memories: the map now correctly jumps to the spot where you just added a memory, and deleting a place's only memory takes you back to the map instead of leaving you on an empty screen.

• Apple Maps is now available as a navigation option, alongside Google Maps and Waze.
• Explore and category browsing are smarter — you'll only see categories that actually have places to discover.
