Cornwall boasts the longest coastline of England with some of the most dramatic scenery in the country. From the county’s border defined by the river Tamar to the furthermost point in the Scilly Isles, there is too much to see in a lifetime. This app attempts to point you to the places that you would want to find during your holiday or visit and in this aspect it is good. It is, however, important to point out that Cornwall is also one of the poorest counties in England and has not had a fair investment in communications. Beyond the towns, you will find mobile coverage poor or non-existent and it is important that you download information you may want before embarking on a trip. As I understand it the app is in its infancy so still signing up businesses to up the content level - by later in the year I expect it will be brimming! Roll on 2014 - I think visitors and locals are going to love it! I also had numerous restaurants that I saw in town never show up. I immediately deleted the app. ### 1/5 — Not working?? *2017-07-04, version 1.7.1* Downloaded this as I saw it in mag and tried it. Most of the stuff I clicked on came up with "NO RESULTS" so I am deleting it. Not wasting the space on my phone or the time to look for things to find out it hadn't got anything to show. This was 4th July 2017 ### 1/5 — Dire *2016-08-09, version 1.6.53* Awful, keeps on crashing and no web links are provided. Insufficient detail of each venue is provided. This is true whether you are narrowing down a search from one of the topic tiles or going to the main search tile. ### 3/5 — Could be better - the business side could be more locally specific *2020-11-11, version 1.8.1* The location service doesn’t work in the app. If then use the website to see what’s in your area there have been very few businesses utilise the space. If promoted right could be a really good place for local businesses to promote themselves and for local people to gain an awareness of what is in their area. As a local user I find the content is quite limited... I know there’s an Asda & a petrol station in my town as there is in most, would be nice to see though some small independent businesses appear on here and to see a nice directory of what each town has to offer other than the usual supermarket and occasional tourist attraction. Fingers crossed this improves with time. ### 3/5 — Needs updating *2019-04-29, version 1.7.6* Lot of out of date vouchers, needs updating. ### 3/5 — Almost there... *2017-05-13, version 1.7.1* We traveled to Cornwall for the first time in May 2017 and came prepared with this great app, showing SO many wonderful places to visit, giving lots of information and links to websites etc, plus as a bonus, discounts for many attractions :) However, we noted once we arrived that, arguably, one of the most famous attractions in Cornwall, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, just outside St. Austell wasn't in this app? Really! It's been there for decades, so absolutely no excuse and I'm just wondering now, that if something as famous as that can be omitted from this app, how many other attractions aren't showing either? As long as you have Google by your side, you have all bases covered to discover the many hidden gems within this wonderful part of the country. It's just a shame you can't Totally rely on this app for all things Cornwall :( ### 3/5 — The *2014-09-06, version 1.6* This could evolve into a ' Must have' for visitors and locals alike. It needs to feature most, if not all of the services it supports though. For example, only one Chinese takeaway is listed for Penzance, but I know of at least five in the town!
