### 2/5 — MyEar app

*2022-07-20, version 3.1.4*

They typed profanity words. Not too impressed with their work. Poor professional rotational staff with lack of integrity and respect among the MyEar customers. Seeking reliable services elsewhere!!

### 3/5 — Only works in a quiet setting with a deep voice.

*2022-04-19, version 3.1.4*

With covid and masks, unable to lip read. Sadly this doesn’t work very well. It does not pick up people talking. Especially women’s voices if at all . Not good in a public setting, sadly.

### 3/5 — Not used for phone calls

*2020-12-21, version 3.1.4*

If you’re looking for it to transcribe a phone call it won’t. Or you’d need a second phone.

### 5/5 — This app exceeds expectations

*2020-11-27, version 3.1.4*

My hearing husband loaded this app today after reading about it on the internet. He says it performs so nearly accurate it rivals the other speech to text software. He said even the punctuation is mostly accurate. It ran perfectly upon installation. He adjusted the size of text and that was it. I am running iOS 14.2 on this iPad Pro. He is ordering a Bluetooth remote mic to try and see if he can sit further from my iPad and it still can translate to text.
Thumbs up on an EXCELLENT app!

### 2/5 — Does not work through zoom

*2020-09-18, version 3.1.3*

I’m deaf and I bought this because I heard good stories about it. I tried to put near my computer as I had a zoom seminar for my class. It did not type well full sentences. I understand that speech to text are not perfect. But I’m expecting at least 80% correctly. This did not even type full sentences. Only one or two words per sentence or every 5 seconds, this means I missed a lot. This means that is not even 50%, maybe 8% take took words from the speech through zoom. I asked my mom to see if there was any video sound issues that probably did not catch speech to text. But no, sound was excellent, I tried different angle to see if the app would grab better words. But none. I only hear it works person to person, which it was ok. But with the COVID-19 going on, everything is through zoom and other video meetings. I really need a captions or transcribe through zoom video and live. This app did not work for me and I would like my refund back.... :(
Thank you.

### 1/5 — Broken App

*2020-09-14, version 3.1.3*

The design is broken. The UX flow is in-completed. All of that for $10...

### 1/5 — Not working

*2020-09-11, version 3.1.3*

I tried to do that with TV but app didn’t catch at least three words in a sentence while people talked on TV. 9.99 is not worthy.

### 5/5 — Awesome app for the COVID-19 situation

*2020-09-04, version 3.1.3*

As a deaf person, this app helps me when people are wearing mask as I rely on reading lips for those that don’t sign. Saved me a lot of frustration. Keep up the great work!

### 1/5 — Waste my money !

*2020-08-25, version 3.1.1*

Do not buy this app. It is awful and i am very disappointed since I am deaf I wanted to try this to understand what my son’s teacher was talking about with all this on e-learning so I could make sure he understood what he was supposed to be doing. My phone was close to the computer when the teacher was talking.
Plus when my family are eat on table when my son talk and my phone close to my son i look at. Not right my son say

### 1/5 — Beautiful team

*2025-06-18, version 3.1.4*

The hearing impaired world need to understand that we’re not 100% yet and I need to work with these developers to help them give them constructive criticism from our side of the world one day we’re gonna wake up and this stuff is gonna be at 100% as inInnocaption and my ear app develop trying to accomplish people need to be patient here and not complain. This is new technology. We’re all at the same thing and that’s 100% and with our help he’s beautiful young people can make this happen for us. Patient and don’t be critical. We’re in a learning process.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2024-08-16*

Terrible no pick up the voice person speak..
Take while (so slow to start)…
Waste of money to pay ….

### 1/5 — Won’t be able to use MyEar after iOS updates?

*2023-07-12, version 3.1.4*

I don’t know why , I love using it ever since it really helps me because I’m deaf. But lately as of recent iOS update for my iPhone 13 Pro Max and the latest iOS updated I tried open the MyEar app but it keeps shutting close. It won’t work. I don’t know why

### 1/5 — Very disappointed

*2022-03-09, version 3.1.4*

I used this in a classroom setting, I was up from 6’ from the speaker and it failed miserably. If it managed to pick anything up the transcription was inaccurate.
I borrowed an android phone and google live got it 95% correct.

### 1/5 — Not working

*2022-01-31, version 3.1.4*

Really wanted this app to work. It always opens “text to speak”. I need help hearing what others are saying, not in helping me speak. It has been frustrating at best. When I finally get it to work, the opportunity I had has typically passed. I’d like my money back.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2021-07-01, version 3.1.4*

It can’t pick up one sound my husband makes and he is 3 feet away from me. People shouldn’t have to speak directly into my phone.

### 1/5 — It doesn't work!

*2021-04-09, version 3.1.4*

I am searching the speech-to-text or transcription app for the classroom while the teacher reads the story Or communicate with me. I am Deaf Educator with Deaf students in mainstream classrooms. Please refund it. Should give app trial for five to seven days first before paying it.

### 1/5 — One huge problem

*2021-02-23, version 3.1.4*

You can’t have it open and be on a call with Speaker (the entire reason I purchased it). I thought it would transcribe my calls. Sitting across the kitchen table from my wife it will only pick up a few words of what she says. A complete waste of $9.99!

### 1/5 — Crap

*2020-09-30, version 3.1.4*

This is so rubbish and don’t work properly.
Should get a refund

### 1/5 — Not easy

*2020-09-26, version 3.1.4*

This just doesn’t do what i need. I am disappointed in it. Especially because i paid for the app. Not worth it.

### 5/5 — Group conversations

*2026-08-11, version 3.1.4*

You rock! When we’re in a group talking, dad had a hard time following the conversation. This solved it. Thank you so much! Being able to change the font size is what sold it to us.

### 5/5 — be nice if ...

*2025-08-29, version 3.1.4*

if ya add save notes from doctors
couldn't copy paste afterwards conversation

### 5/5 — NO MORE LIPREADING

*2024-01-12, version 3.1.4*

I just used MyEar on my iPad for informal family conversations. MyEar changed voice to text in real time. It was better than lipreading and reading the text on my iPad during our conversation was more accurate. MyEar is a life changing app for me and my family. I highly recommend using MyEar app on your iPad or IPhone..

### 5/5 — Brilliant

*2022-06-10, version 3.1.4*

Brandon, I just have to say .....you are a genius! My 92 year old mom has been hard of hearing for 30 plus years. The last 2-3 really bad(she doesn’t like the deaf word though) Her lip reading skills are not like they use to be. We have tried the hearing helper app, but it is no where as efficient as your is. We have tried writing tablets, use a lot of hand gestures, but as you know so frustrating. The reason I found your app tonight, was my Mom was quite pitiful as she came into the kitchen area where me and my sister were talking..and said...”I am so tired of not being able to be in a conversation with anybody, the two of you just don’t understand what it is like not to be able to hear and have conversations”. It was then I realized, have I just been complacent with what we had that I wasn’t searching for help anymore. So, I decided to search again....entered talk to text device for the deaf...and up your app came(okay maybe the the 4 th or 5 th thing on page). Anyway, I read the first review and downloaded it, tried it with mom and omg it picked up my every word and yes I could even change the font size and I can point the screen to hear as I am talking. I have the happy dance going on!!!

### 5/5 — Great Ap for assisting people that can’t hear Like medical personnel

*2022-01-27, version 3.1.4*

This is a very helpful app for any medical personnel that need to communicate to someone deaf. The fonts are large And easy to read.

### 5/5 — Accurate

*2021-12-05, version 3.1.4*

I am deaf. I have used several voice to text programs. My Ear is the best one that I have found. It’s accurate and easy to use.

### 5/5 — It helps me understand my Grandkids!

*2021-06-11, version 3.1.4*

I’m a hearing aid wearer and I can hear most adults fairly well, but I have great difficulty understanding what my Grandchildren (age 4 to 10) are saying. With the “My Ear” app, I can READ what they are saying. I really appreciate this app!

### 5/5 — Thank You

*2021-04-25, version 3.1.4*

I love this app and have been using it for years. I am a business consultant and multi person meetings were hard before this app. Now with COVID and mask wearing, it’s even harder for us deaf peoples. This this app allows me to continue to do my job. Thank you!

### 5/5 — App my ear

*2021-04-09, version 3.1.4*

I’m back into conversations . Totally love this !!!!! Best app ever in my opinion . My silence is loud again .

### 5/5 — The best yet

*2021-01-19, version 3.1.4*

One of the most annoying things about speech to text for hearing impaired is the speed to get the app working while the other side waits impatiently. Thank you for focusing on this problem.
