Okay this seems acceptable but my question then is if locked characters are accessible through gameplay, can you update the progression stream more intuitively for children? Make it so clicking on the locked character directs the player to the gameplay stream they need to complete to unlock that character. At present the locked character is just a dead end. A child would not know that they need to back track to other sections of the game and just keep playing. Even if the unlocked characters are randomized and the gameplay doesn’t guarantee that specific character right away, at least you’re looping them to the correct section rather than bouncing the interface over to the next unlocked character (as it does now). Additional feedback while I’m here - the avatar customization button has become a lot harder to find for small children now. If you could improve upon that it would be appreciated. **Developer response:** Hello, thanks for your review. We understand that the recent update may feel different from the previous experience. The locked toys are part of the updated collection system and do not indicate an issue with the app. You can definitely get more characters by playing through our gameplay or tap on the print button to get new toys! Now my phone automatically updated to their new update and he hates it! He is so upset about this! I will not download this again on my iPhone or my android because it crashes often every time I go to scan a QR code. It likes to crash it closes me out the game every time I scan a QR code and it keeps trying to update itself and it’s already fully updated. Please fix these bugs I’ve already downloaded this game in the past and I’ve had multiple issues such as scanning the character codes or please find a better platform. This has been completely taken out. She is extremely upset about this. All of the creatures used to have multiple games with so much to do in the app. Now there’s barely anything to do or play with. All the creatures now have the same two basic modes. Horrible update overall — destroyed an amazing app. The new navigation is also a big downgrade. It kicks you out of the game either fix the errors in this game. Or please remove it from the Apple and Google play store because it is glitchy and laggy, and will not scan characters at all for me this is my second review and it does not work on android or Apple for me I already reinstalled it multiple times and it still crashes often so either take the game out of Google and Apple Store or fix the errors because there have been too many people with errors from this game and it’s disappointing that I can’t play without being interrupted being closed out of the game this game is very disappointing.
