It’s not enough to just have basketball, soccer, tennis, and golf. Where’s the PWHL??? Where’s the WPBL?? So even when my device sound is turned all the way down, Notifications of score updates, etc. will still blast out sounds, often at undesirable moments. It’s a really poor start considering the apps we have already. They should have given us the app completed and not drop feed leagues. There’s no calendar view and no easy way to drill down into a specific team to see all of their upcoming matches. The current “Upcoming” section feels overcrowded and doesn’t clearly separate matches by day. A dedicated widget for a single team would also be a great addition, showing that team’s upcoming matches at a glance. The icons and especially the soccer scores feel unnecessarily oversized, taking up too much screen space. Overall, the UI feels cluttered and doesn’t seem to follow many of Apple’s best UI/UX design principles. However the Scottish FA Cup, League Cup and Lower leagues still need to be added. Also, despite just being added, the app is using old outdated club crests. Most noticeably, Rangers. They refreshed their crest years ago. Poor There is also auto-follow the fixtures of your favourited teams. That one just doesn’t make sense at all.
