Also - sending us to the main Apple website to submit feedback instead of having an actual page for your app is irritating. Display is too dark if there is the slightest light in the room. This Cannot be corrected in Settings. Trust me, I’ve tried everything. All other streaming services are fine on my iphone. I rated your app 2 stars because the content is genuinely good...(the content is actually 5 star content)....but I'm done with any company that AUTOMATICALLY starts collecting my info, and then says I can opt out AFTER my personal info starts being collected. You are turning your consumers into products. STOP IT!!! ### 3/5 — No browse option *2026-08-12, version 2.7* Some of the shows and movies are good, but if I don't specifically know what I plan to watch I don't use this app. There's no way to browse. They only show you a few select things (almost all are tv shows not movies) on the home screen, and then the search bar you have to know what you're looking for (but it will also show you things that aren't available on the app. Why???). How do you not have a fullscreen button on a streaming service? It’s genuinely amateur and embarrassing. Crazy thought, but maybe the fullscreen button is present ON EVERY PLATFORM EVER for a reason? Maybe there are times people actually want to have both fullscreen AND rotation lock enabled at the same time? Crazy I know. Here, watch it watch it watch it!” “Yeah, but how is the Apple TV app? Do you enjoy it?” “I’m not sure what you’re asking, but Ted Lasso everybody! You gotta watch it! You gotta watch it!” Apple over-promoted this show in season 1. I lost interest due to the constant need to shove this show down everyone’s throats. And now season 4 is here. Apple decided to triple-down on the promoting of this show as well as shove that stupid “Resubscribe to Apple TV Plus for $12.99 with three months free” every single time I start the Apple TV app. Look, I just spent over two grand on the newest iPhone. I spent even more money on movies that I will never truly own. Can you all just leave me alone and be grateful and satisfied that you have customers? The more you promote something the less interest that I have in what’s being promoted. Trying to pick up where I left off and it’s like I was never there. I don’t want to be prompted watch the first episode every time. I’ve done that. I consume media primarily on my iPhone. So why is THIS app interface one of the worst ones for video streaming on iOS? Notice that most of the positive reviews are about the content…and the negative reviews are about the interface. DO. BETTER. Updated May 2023: Why why WHY won’t the app save my progress at all?! Sometimes I swipe the wrong way and close out of the video player while watching on my phone, so then I have to go to the series, figure out the episode I’m on, and figure out where I left off, because my “up next” is an episode I watched days ago from a previous season.
