The screens you have to read are sometimes impossible to read when the sun hits it. The other day I was charging (I’ve only figured out how to use it with my credit card bc the app feature is so wonky), and a family who was charging next to me asked for my help. It seemed like they were doing things right but to no avail. They gave up and left. The app isn’t great - it advertises easier charging but I can’t find how to sign up for this feature. The kiosks aren’t clear. The chargers are expensive and the hoses are heavy and hard to manage. Sorry applegreen. No Apple Pay PayPal or other options. Also doesn’t allow login with Apple or use of passkey. Just user id and password. I see it’s a company that started in the EU which has better privacy protections, but not with their US app. I’ll pay the higher fee per kWh by not creating an account. ### 1/5 — Bring back Tesla superchargers to the NJ turnpike! *2026-05-16, version 9.1.3* Just terrible. Spent 10 min trying to get 2 chargers to work both with and without the app with no luck.
