## What is AppStash?

The App Store is full of apps you downloaded once, forgot, and can't bring yourself to delete — because one day you
might need them again.

AppStash ends the hesitation. Before you uninstall an app, save it to AppStash with one line of purpose. Your iPhone
stays light, and your "maybe later" apps stay findable — not by name (which you'll forget), but by what you need the
m for.

SAVE IN ONE STEP
Share an app's App Store page to AppStash, jot down why you might need it again, done. Icon, link, and metadata are
saved automatically.

FIND BY PURPOSE, NOT NAME
"That app that scans receipts." Search your notes — receipts, trips, moving, tax season — and the app comes right ba
ck. Reinstall with one tap.

GROUP INTO COLLECTIONS
Keep apps in scenes like Business Trips, Moving, or Travel Abroad. One app can live in several collections.

YOUR LIBRARY, YOUR DATA
Everything stays on your device — no account, no tracking, no servers. Export your archive anytime.

Made for spring cleaning your iPhone without the fear of losing track.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-10-22

• Approximate Search: Can’t remember the exact words? Search now catches fuzzy recollections and surfaces the right app even when phrasing doesn't match word-for-word.
• Searchable Scene Memos: Scene contexts (like "Trip to Hokkaido") are now fully indexed. Search your situation to find all related apps instantly.
• Match from Notes: Organize scenes faster. Simply type a few keywords to auto-match and batch-add all relevant apps at once.
• Calmer Library Review: No more red notification badges. Missing purposes are now organized in a gentle, swipeable card at the top of your library.
• Better Prompting: The note field now asks "What would you search for later?", helping you capture keywords that actually work months down the road.
• Polished Details: Streamlined one-page sharing guide, refined translucent tab bar scrolling, and full localization in English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.

### 1.1 — 2026-10-17

This update makes sharing and note-taking smoother.

• See at a glance whether an app is already in your library, along with a note preview and whether its information is still up to date
• The share sheet now shows an app's official name and icon, so you can confirm what you're saving
• Tap a card to open its details, or tap the note area to start writing a note
• The bottom button no longer hides behind the keyboard while you write a note
• Settings is reorganized, with a new Send Feedback option that attaches version and device info — never your data
• When your free slots are full, AppStash now makes it clear that your item is safe and will be archived automatically once space is available

This update also includes bug fixes and performance improvements.
