Open a task and you can now see the unit's tracked assets right there. Make, model, the whole roster. No more calling the office to ask which fridge you are looking at. Filter the list instead of scrolling it. Assets now narrow down to what you actually need, and the extra details tuck into an overflow so the screen stays readable. Work Orders The app asks before it hands you the job. Assigning a task to yourself now takes a confirmation. One stray tap no longer puts someone else's work on your plate. More detail, less digging. Work Orders now open an info sheet with the context you actually need before you walk in the door. It was always in the system. Now it is in front of you. Property Work Orders stopped asking about access. No Access is gone from property-level Work Orders. There is no unit to be locked out of. That option should never have been there. Bug Fixes The nav bar stopped sitting on the back button. They were fighting over the same real estate. The nav bar lost. The task count is readable now. It was rendered so thin you had to squint to count your own workload. Bolder. Visible. Done. Section titles stopped grading an unfinished inspection. Open inspections no longer show a score on section headers. A half-done inspection was never going to give you an honest number. The app stopped crashing on its own memory. A segmentation fault was taking the app down with no warning and no explanation. Gone. ### 8.34.2 — 2026-08-20 New Features Work Orders now show their due date. Right next to the scheduled date, you'll see when a Work Order is actually due, color-coded so it lands at a glance. Upcoming sits in green, due-today goes bold, and anything overdue turns red. You always know what truly needs you first. Play call recordings without leaving the app. If a Work Order started as a resident call, you can now listen to the recording right in the Tech App. No more jumping to the Admin Portal to hear what was said. Filters show up when they're useful. The property filter used to hide unless you covered more than one property. Now that there are more ways to filter, each one appears based on what's actually relevant to you. No more phantom resident alerts on vacant units. When a unit is vacant, the app no longer claims the resident will be notified for statuses like Need Parts, No Access, or Notify Resident. Nobody's home to notify, so we stopped saying otherwise. A friendlier face when you don't have a photo. Techs without a profile photo now get a proper avatar on the home page. Under the Hood Fewer timeouts. We tracked down a request that could hang for two full minutes before giving up. Tightened it up so things move faster. Sharper bug reports. Report Issue now bundles in sync queue data, so when something's stuck syncing, we can see why and fix it faster. ### 8.34.1 — 2026-08-17 Work Orders See every open Work Order for the unit you're standing in. Open a Work Order and you can now view the other open Work Orders for that same unit, then self-assign the ones you want. You're already there. You might as well knock out the leaky faucet while you're fixing the disposal. The Other Open tab. All open Work Orders for a unit now live in one tab instead of nowhere in particular. Signing In Auto-login for SSO. If your company uses single sign-on, you can now skip the sign-in screen entirely. Open the app, get to work. It's optional, so turn it on if you want it. Logging out asks first. Log out now confirms before it goes, and it properly signs you out of SSO too. No more accidentally ejecting yourself mid-shift. Bug Fixes Scheduled times stopped living in another time zone. Some scheduled times were showing up eight hours off, which is a rough thing to discover on the way to an appointment. They show the real time now. The unit dropdown scrolls again. Creating a new Work Order meant picking a unit from a list that refused to move. It moves. Work Order History stopped breaking the screen. Opening history used to take the UI down with it. Now it just shows you the history, which was always the plan. The other open Work Orders option shows up where it should. Some units weren't offering the option at all. They are now. Under the Hood The app handles low memory like an adult. Better memory warning handling means fewer surprise closures on long days with a lot of photos. ### 8.32.1 — 2026-08-03 Admin Portal The Admin Portal moved in. You can now open the Admin Portal right inside the Tech App. No more closing one thing to go look at another thing. It's all in one place, where it probably should have been all along. Work Orders Copy text straight from a Work Order. Tap, hold, copy. Addresses, notes, part numbers, whatever you need to paste somewhere else. Retyping was never a good use of your time. Bold text in chat comments is actually bold. Someone emphasized something in a Work Order or Make Ready comment and you'd never know it. Now the emphasis survives the trip. Category changes announce themselves. When a Work Order category changes, the title animates so you catch it. Small thing. Harder to miss now. Photos Pinch to zoom on images. You can zoom in on a photo instead of squinting at a leak and guessing. Squinting was never a feature. Refrigerant Logs Refrigerant weights show the real numbers. Logged weights were displaying wrong in the Tech App. They aren't anymore. Your compliance records read the way you entered them. Bug Fixes The app scrolls you to what you missed. Skip a required item and the app now takes you straight to it instead of leaving you to hunt for the one field standing between you and done. "undefined" stopped showing up on the timeline. Adding a schedule slot used to leave a mystery word in the timeline event. It's gone. It never meant anything anyway. Fixed a crash on the Home screen. It happened. It doesn't now. Under the Hood Background errors stay in the background. Network hiccups from background requests were surfacing where they didn't belong. They're handled quietly now, the way background work is supposed to be. ### 8.31.3 — 2026-07-29 New Features Start an inspection right from your phone. Techs can now create inspections straight from the Tech App. No waiting on someone at a desk to set it up. See it, start it, done. Change a Work Order's category on the fly. You can now change the WO Category on any Work Order assigned to you. Miscategorized work happens. Fixing it no longer takes a phone call. Smart category suggestions when you create a Work Order. Create a Work Order from the app, type in the description of the issue, and AppWork suggests the right WO Category for you. Agree? Keep moving. Want something else? Change it to whatever fits. Bug Fixes Long inspection template names behave. A really long template name used to wreck the layout. Now it stays in its lane no matter how wordy it gets. Uploading the same photo works. Re-uploading the same photo used to run into trouble. Sorted.
