Sofia now hears you more clearly and sounds fuller on the speaker. Voice mode no longer plays your microphone back at you. You can pick which microphone to use, see a live waveform, and get a warning if the connection is unstable. Teaching cards from a voice session stay in the chat. The lesson path now stays on the earliest unfinished stop - you finish a level before the next one unlocks.

Aprender now has a warmer Bairro redesign across Home, lessons, practice, Sofia and Profile. This update also improves subscription choices, defaults to monthly pricing, fixes daily skip limits, keeps practice to words you have learned, and makes explanations clearer.

Voice conversations with Sofia are fixed.

• She hears you properly. Voice sessions were connecting but not picking up normal speech, so Sofia would sit there without replying.
• She comes out of the loudspeaker instead of the earpiece, so you no longer have to hold the phone to your ear.
• Clearer pickup, with echo cancellation and noise handling on the microphone.
• Your remaining voice minutes now show on the Sofia screen before you start a session, not only once the timer is running.
• A tidier session review at the end of each conversation.

### 3.6.0 — 2026-08-22

Onboarding is shorter and reads better, with one date control instead of several and a single spine running through it.

Fixed the daily reminder screen. Allow notifications now actually asks for permission and schedules your reminder, and Not now gets you past the screen instead of doing nothing.

Also in this release: pronunciation scored on sound rather than letter names, a rebuilt Home, improved listening and fill-in-the-blank exercises, and the CIPLE citizenship track.
