Thank you ### 4/5 — Too many ads *2024-01-22, version 1.25.9* I really enjoy these puzzles and I don’t mind a few ads, but having 7 or 8 ads for one puzzle is very annoying. ### 3/5 — New mid game “ad breaks” make it incredibly frustrating *2024-01-12, version 1.25.9* I’ve played this game every single day since I learned of it existing. I’m not opposed to paying for games if I enjoy them, but the problem with this one is that it’s a monthly subscription that is comparable in price to Netflix, crave, Disney+, etc. Which is too much for me to pay for. I’ve been very happy with the free version and would have rated 5*, but recently they’ve added a mid game ad break that pops up about every 2-5 minutes. This is INCREDIBLY annoying because some of these ad breaks are only 5 seconds of ads, and some are the same length as the ads you can get 10-30 coins for, but they only give you one coin. If there was a lifetime payment, or even if the monthly subscription was more like 2-4$ a month, I would pay it in a second. 12-13$ is too much monthly, and the ad breaks mid game are making me not want to play it anymore. I understand they need to make money, but the price is too high for a puzzle game for me. ### 4/5 — What’s with all these subscription services? *2023-12-28, version 1.25.4* I’ve enjoyed this app early on but what I don’t understand is what’s with all these subscription services on coloring type apps. I do a coloring app 100% free but most others including these jigsaw apps you have to pay a fee monthly to unlock rest of content. And that app adds content daily. I’d gladly pay a one time fee to unlock everything. That’s how much I’ve enjoyed this app. I gave it 4 stars only because if this subscription fee. I’m not paying $10 a month to unlock everything. And even playing free, you have to spend 50 coins to unlock certain puzzles, and coins are evidently hard to come by in this app. So then you’d have to pay money to get more coins if you run out. I get you need to make money but that’s why you have ads and should have an option to pay a one time fee instead of a subscription. I guarantee you you’d make enough money going that route and maybe lower the coins to from 50 to like 20-30 even would be better. I just don’t have the money to afford 9.99 a month for what is a cross between a coloring and jigsaw app. ### 3/5 — Great except... *2023-10-17, version 1.23.0* When I played the puzzles some of the pieces would not stay in. I would put it in then the game would blink off and the next time I got on to it it took me some pieces back. So I never could finish a puzzle. I’ve played it daily for almost a year. Living on a fixed income I didn’t want to subscribe at $9.99 per month I was ok having to watch an ad to get the puzzle then watch an ad to open it. It was worth it. Since the first of the year it seems I am being forced to take the subscription or be forced to watch an ad every 30-45 seconds. Sorry……NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. My only complaint is after the most recent update, when you are putting together puzzles under the collections tab, it no longer keeps your place.. so if you close the app you have to scroll and scroll to get to where you left off.. ### 5/5 — Almost perfect *2024-07-01, version 1.29.3* I have been playing this game since just after launch. I was absolutely heartbroken a few months ago when I lost my entire data on the game. I was back at level zero. Thanks to Przemyslaw and the developers I was able to get my data back. If anyone else has this issue which I know a few people have, reach out to customer support and they should be able to help you like they did me. I could only make three possible suggestions for this app: 1. The ability to save via iCloud rather than via Facebook to prevent issues happening like the one I experienced a few months ago. I’ve been playing April oil painting for years and never had the issue I had with April jigsaw because the game uses iCloud to save your data rather than a third party site. 2. The ability to save jigsaws at the end of them. It’s frustrating that this game has been out for a couple of years now and in order to keep completed pictures you need to screenshot and crop. The save feature of completed pictures on April oil coloring is such a nice feature and would be greatly welcomed on April jigsaw And finally 3. I wish that there was a combined subscription that had a yearly fee for both apps combined so I wasn’t paying individual yearly fees of $87.99 for jigsaw and $88.99 for coloring respectively. A cheaper combined yearly subscriptions that covers both apps would be nice. I seriously hope that I don’t have any troubles migrating my save data to a new iPhone for April jigsaw in September. I hope it’s considered to allow iCloud backup for the app in the future to alleviate this concern ### 5/5 — If Not You, Then Who? *2024-06-15, version 1.29.3* Five stars for the game concept, NO stars for the ad experience. I guess my problem is not with this game in particular, but rather the game I landed on when I had reached my fill. I had already seen the comments about the “ad issues”, but decided to still try it out. I actually don’t mind ads most days, and understand completely developers utilizing this method to get their product out there. What I DON’T understand, and will NEVER understand is when developers saturate the game experience with these ads. It would be one thing if there was a chance of it being successful at all. But when you are bombarded by ads over and over again, and it’s the SAME ad every 20 seconds, how is that effective? If I didn’t find the game ad interesting enough the first time to download, then I’m not going to find it so the 3rd, 4th, or the 24th time; and no, forcing us to watch the same ad, or any ad for longer than all the other times you show it isn’t going to do it either. My point is simply this… I don’t know who is paying whom, or who is spending their money thinking they will have a chance for more people to see their ads, but the way they go about it is totally and completely ineffective. I downloaded this game because it looked like something I would enjoy. It has great potential. I also will delete it after only trying once to enjoy it because of the reasons mentioned. There just must be a better way to offer games to people who can’t pay other than this.
