## What is Aprobado?

Taking the Spanish DGT theory test for the category B licence in English? Aprobado tells you when you're ready with one number, and shows you exactly what you still need to learn.

The DGT lets you sit the category B theory test in English, French or German. Choose your language: the whole exam in English, or in Spanish with the English translation one tap away.

Original questions written from the Spanish Traffic Law and its regulations. Every answer explains why and cites the BOE article it is based on, so you understand the rule instead of memorising it.

ABOUT THE TRANSLATION
The questions, explanations and study cards were written in Spanish and translated automatically into English. Translations may contain mistakes: the Spanish original is always one tap away, and you can report a translation error from any question.

YOUR PLAN, WITH A DATE
• A three-question mini test shows where you start.
• Tell us when your exam is and how much you can study: the plan tells you when you'll be ready and what to do each day.

PRACTISE LIKE THE REAL EXAM
• Mock exams of 30 questions in 30 minutes, with a maximum of 3 mistakes, like the real test.
• When you hand in, pass or fail, and every mistake explained with its article.

ARE YOU READY?
• Your score rises with your mock exams and what you master in each topic.
• At 85 with your last three mock exams passed, you're ready to book.

THE WHOLE SYLLABUS, UP TO DATE
• 1,106 questions across the 14 exam topics: signs, priority, speed, overtaking, alcohol, first aid, documents and more.
• The signs of the new 2025 catalogue (RD 465/2025), drawn one by one.
• Updated with the vulnerable road users reform (RD 518/2026), in force since 1 October 2026.

LEARN FASTER
• My mistakes: what you get wrong comes back after 1, 3, 7 and 14 days.
• Signs mode: quick rounds so you never miss a sign.
• Key numbers: speeds, alcohol limits, distances and points, on cards.
• Cheat sheets: what comes up most in each topic, in a few lines.

A LITTLE EVERY DAY
• Question of the day and a widget to answer it from your Home Screen.
• Streak and daily reminder.
• Works offline and without an account: your progress stays on your iPhone.

FREE AND PRO
Free: the question of the day, one full mock exam and the whole Signs topic. Aprobado Pro unlocks everything:
• Until you pass: a one-off payment, no subscription.
• Weekly: charged every week. Cancel any time.

The weekly subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. The price is shown in the App Store before you confirm.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.1 — 2026-10-30

Improvements and fixes.

### 1.3 — 2026-10-28

What's new in 1.3:

• Aprobado now speaks English, French and German. The DGT lets you sit the category B theory test in these languages, so you choose yours: the whole exam in your language, or in Spanish with the translation one tap away.
• The questions are translated automatically and may contain mistakes. The Spanish original is always one tap away, and you can report a translation error from any question.
• Corrections to several questions after checking them against the BOE.

### 1.2 — 2026-10-24

### 1.0 — 2026-10-20

No release notes.
