I’m really enjoying Apron! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Poor app, 0 quality improvements *2026-06-08* The apron team aren’t helpful and don’t want to improve their product when a customer is unhappy. App fails to scan receipts in multiple formats in multiple occasions. Absolute nightmare. **Developer response:** Really sorry to hear this - that's not the experience we want for anyone using Apron, and we do want to fix it. Please reach out to us at support@getapron.com or via the in-app chat (just tap the speech bubble icon) with some examples of the formats that are failing and we'll look into it properly. ### 1/5 — Welcome to the stone age *2025-07-05* Ive worked in IT for 25 years and seen much better apps. This one cant link client invoices on website to the app, so you have to use the website on a computer for a complete view. Historical invoices go missing. There is no process to manually mark paid invoices and seems to want you to use their card system for payments. The idea of grabbing invoices is so you scrap the old paperwork for digital, is just missing from this app. Other apps, now scan email inboxes to grab invoices or allow batch scanning then show in the app. Unfortunately this one doesn’t. So make sure you evaluate your workflow before using this app otherwise, you could be on the back end of looking piles of paper to manage your workflow. ### 1/5 — Seriously lacks functionality *2024-09-25* This app is so bad I ended up having to use the desktop which also isn’t great. Apron is more affordable and offers more functionality, whilst being just as reliable as Dext.
