I now what to unlock everything forever which I assume includes TX. Only way to contact developer is Facebook and Twitter both of which I do not participate in. Rated 1 star because I can not contact nor get credit for switching from TX subscription to unlock everything forever on the same purchase date. There should be a trial period or method. There should also be contact methods other than just Facebook and Twitter... This app is only useful if your device has network connectivity; when you’re off the grid, there is no map. You cannot cache a map. The beacon interval is uncontrollable. And it will restore your earlier purchases, although I found that to complete the restore process the older version must be deleted from the iDevice. ### 4/5 — Great APRS app so far *2017-02-07, version 3.26* I recently switched to an iPhone and one of the apps I needed was an APRS all in one app. So far it works pretty good for me. ### 2/5 — Investigated *2023-03-10, version 3.29* After some investigation on this app in relation to APRS. This app is only lacking one thing. OFFLINE MAPS. Using this application in conjunction with a transmitter or receiver working that side of the house. This app is really good at decoding and responding to packets sent to it. Really solid app with great possibilities. However I deleted both the deluxe and the ultimate versions due to no availability for offline map downloading. I would most definitely consider a re-download if the app had that one feature! (Posting to both apps on the App Store for this.) also, why is that? What is the difference between ultimate and deluxe? ### 2/5 — Almost worthless *2020-12-24, version 3.29* I have tried this app on 4 different IOS devices and almost everytime, when I enable Rx through the audio in jack the app closes. I did get it to work once but after the phone restarted it was back to the same issues. I would love to pay for the Tx/ Pro part of this app, but the app needs to be able to receive flawlessly before that. I am a Amateur Radio operator and I have apps that can do this with NO problem on Android. Developer, please update this app, get it working and I will pay for the TX. ### 2/5 — QRM *2018-06-20, version 3.29* The user interface is just plain terrible, and confusing even to a tech-minded ham like myself. The main screen is difficult to understand and even harder to use, and that’s before you have death by a thousand submenus. It’s a shame, because this app seems to have all the functionality I need — if I could find it. ### 2/5 — SPOT Needs update *2017-11-29, version 3.29* please update SPOT GPS to APRS location sharing, it’s not working anymore. ### 2/5 — App constantly closes *2017-05-10, version 3.28* Installed this app to test it out on my iPad 2 with 9.3.5 installed. It starts up OK and starts to uodate the map, but after a couple minutes closes. Reopening restarts the whole process of updating the map, but it closes (crashes) constantly, over and over again. ### 2/5 — Can't recommend this app *2017-04-27, version 3.28* Pros: - TNC works both using speakers and a cable I purchased for my HT - easy to setup Con: - cannot remove "sent from APRS Pro" text from beacon - newest version does not restore my purchased option which means I can no longer transmit - Dev contact options limited to Facebook And twitter - I tweeted the dev 3 days ago asking to have my purchase restored and have not gotten a response.
