- Air quality now comes from a modeled global source at 500 m resolution instead of the nearest ground station. Readings work in large cities, small towns and rural areas alike.
- Air quality is now shown on the official US EPA AQI scale, the same index used in public forecasts.

WIDGETS
- Home Screen widgets are now available, showing your risk score, AQI and pollen at a glance.
- A Lock Screen widget is included with BreathShield Pro.

APPLE WATCH AND ALERTS
- Overnight Apple Watch readings (blood oxygen, respiratory rate, HRV, wrist temperature and sleep) now feed into your daily score.
- Notifications now arrive as scheduled, and every toggle in Settings takes effect immediately.
- Severe air quality alerts are free for everyone, with no subscription.

Smarter Risk Scoring

Redesigned the risk algorithm with clinical guardrails to reduce false alarms during your first days of use
Your personal baseline now requires a minimum calibration period before triggering biometric alerts
Either environmental threats or biometric anomalies can now independently escalate your risk level — a hazardous air quality day will no longer be understated just because your vitals are normal
Improved Accuracy

Fixed an issue where the same health reading could be counted multiple times per day, which caused baseline drift and inflated anomaly scores
Risk history now correctly stores one record per day instead of duplicating on every app refresh
Environmental and biometric scores are now normalized only over available data sources — missing sensors no longer silently lower your score
Performance

API calls are now cached for 15 minutes to reduce battery usage and network traffic
Pull down on the dashboard to force a fresh data refresh at any time
Stability

Fixed a potential freeze on launch when verifying subscription status
Onboarding now properly requests Health and Location permissions before you reach the dashboard
Added StoreKit testing configuration for improved purchase reliability
