Can you please fix this? It’s important that I get notifications, I just don’t need five every time I get one. ### 2/5 — Scheduling Issues *2025-08-02, version 1.5.0* The app looks nice but the scheduling is unnecessarily difficult and confusing….which is kind of the whole purpose of the app. ### 2/5 — Unable to Schedule Makeup Lessons *2024-07-21, version 1.3.2* App only allows you to schedule makeup lessons if a child is enrolled in regular lessons (at least once weekly). Very inconvenient if you decide to actually use your makeup lessons in lieu of weekly enrollment since you have to call to check availability every day to find lessons. Otherwise the app is well designed and convenient. We use it all the time for our other child who is enrolled in weekly lessons. It’s a shame because it would save us and the local Aqua Tots team a lot of time on the phone if the app supported scheduling makeups properly. Cannot recommend the app for that reason. ### 2/5 — App scheduling is too limited *2024-04-10, version 1.3.1* Rescheduling is a great option, except it is limited to only a month ahead and rescheduling is limited to a one week period ahead of the day. Not flexible enough! ### 1/5 — App won’t update progress *2023-03-22, version 1.1.1* The app will not update swimming progress via the dials. I have removed the app, reinstalled the app and confirmed with the manager what the progress stars should be, and they confirmed she has much more progress than is being tracked…however our app still only shows the progress dials from over a month ago…will an app update be coming soon to correct this? Seeing progress is one of my child’s favorite things about progressing her swimming at Aqua Tots and this app does not allow her (or us) to see that… ### 1/5 — Freezes very frequently *2023-03-14, version 1.1.1* App usually freezes and fails to load. I have to delete and reinstall app almost every other day to get it to work. I do love the content but getting it to work without freezing is the negative part. ### 1/5 — Progress dials don’t update *2023-02-16, version 1.1.1* The app looks cool and is useful to see the lane you will be in, who your teacher is and a great way to add/cancel class….however the Progress gauges are stuck and won’t update which makes my child think she is not improving or earning any stars which is discouraging. Please help get those to update (I’ve removed and re/added the app and it is still stuck on the same dial percentages it was 2 weeks ago! ### 3/5 — Why it needs my location back on all the time? *2023-01-21, version 1.1.0* This apps always says to keep my location to always so even I am not using the app it will collect the data. Fix it please. ### 1/5 — Seems Rushed & Dumbed Down *2023-01-09, version 1.1.0* Honestly the app seems like it was rushed and released before it was ready. It also fees extremely dumbed down from the mobile site they used before the app. But the app is always wanting me to turn on my location every time I open it, sometimes it takes 30-45 seconds for the app to load and show the Home Screen, and it will send multiple notifications of the same thing, sometimes as many as 6 or 7 notifications back-to-back of the same thing. Overall it just looks bland and juvenile (which I guess makes sense for the company), it feels rushed, and it takes multiple steps to see full progress whereas before it was all right in front of you. Not impressed. **Update 1/9/23** It’s getting even worse. Now I try logging in and I can’t view my child’s information, class schedule, journey history, etc. I understand the app is still relatively new (been out for almost 2 months now, though) but come on. At least make a decent product if you’re going to force parents to use it. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Login Broken *2026-04-11, version 1.7.0* Latest app update has broken login when using Apple login with shared group password. Please fix this. ### 1/5 — Fails to update progress *2025-07-18, version 1.5.0* The app keeps failing to update my child’s progress. This has happened several times now. The first time, I told the front desk and it was updated that night, but how do I know the correct selections were made based on my kid’s skills; did they just guess, was the progress saved but not submitted? I told them it happened again but it has still not been resolved. Now I have no idea how far along he is or if he missed his chance to ring the bell. ### 1/5 — Very bad school *2025-07-07, version 1.5.0* If I could give zero stars, I would do so without hesitation. This company provides an utterly terrible service, seemingly caring only about extracting as much money as possible from customers. They store your bank card information , and enroll and extend your courses and activate automatic payments without any notification. When I tried to resolve this issue, their customer service was incredibly unhelpful, constantly dragging their feet and failing to provide a solution. Adding to the frustration, I purchased a half year course when they first opened last year, right now I unable to utilize my remaining 40+ makeup classes, as they couldn't be scheduled or accommodated. This entire experience has been a complete waste of money and incredibly frustrating. What's more, I enrolled my children in a four-kids-per-class program, and it's been a complete waste of money. For the same cost, we could have gone to another swim school, where my friends' kids learned to swim in just a few lessons over a single summer. At Aqua Tots, it takes months, which feels like a deliberate attempt to prolong the process or indicates a severe lack of teaching skill. Their only selling point is the attractive facility decor, which seems to be their sole tactic for drawing in customers. When it comes to actual service or teaching ability, they are truly the worst. ### 1/5 — Not great *2025-03-15, version 1.5.0* It would be nice if we can reschedule or send a message through the app. It’s not very specific for our needs. It doesn’t even pull up a calendar. You can find more on their website than the app. ### 1/5 — Needs a serious upgrade!! *2025-02-19, version 1.5.0* The app is extremely limits a parent’s ability to schedule classes. Currently, when you sign up your child it pre-selects all future classes for the same dates and times. After speaking with an employee I was told that the only way to change the date and times of a classes (or classes) is to cancel it and schedule as a make-up class. However, the make-up schedule is limited to 1 week!! At a minimum, 1-2 months out should be made available. For the same reason, this can be especially frustrating for parents with joint custody of their children, who rely on a flexible schedule. ### 1/5 — Terrible and unusable *2025-01-28, version 1.5.0* Unless you have hours to refresh and restart don’t use this. IT IS EVERYTHING!!! ### 5/5 — Calendar Export *2025-11-02, version 1.5.5* One feature I would like to see is the ability to export a class schedule to calendar so that I won’t have to add it manually. Overall the app is functional. Sometimes it’s difficult to figure out the latest summary for the class. The only issue I have is that Level 3 classes are divided into Older and Younger groupings. This means that even though my son can attend either Older or Younger groups for makeup classes, I can only see the Older schedule on the app (because that’s the group he’s officially scheduled with). I would love to be able to see both sets at the same time. It’s so much easier to see in front of me what’s actually available than to call and have someone read out available times. ### 4/5 — Nice to have app but needs some improvement *2023-01-27, version 1.1.1* I wish that the options for make-up classes could be seen BEFORE the class is cancelled so that we can weigh our options. Also, I would like to be able to schedule the make-up classes for further out than 1 week from cancelling. For example, I cancelled a class originally scheduled for 9 days from now. I would ideally like to reschedule it for 8 or 10 days from now, but the only options that the app gives are in the next 7 days, and I cannot see any dates beyond that. ### 4/5 — Really nice app, but having issues after child changed levels *2023-01-22, version 1.1.0* We are really loving the app so far- it is so nice to be able to cancel, see coaches, see how many kids are enrolled etc. I think it would be nice if the report cards went digital as well.
