If it's easier just replace nitrite with magnesium. No experienced reefer tests for nitrite after tank cycles and will not miss it. All coral keepers test for magnesium. Would of gave 5 stars if you didn't leave out magnesium. I just been entering my mag parameter in the nitrite field. Alerts and notifications don't work, however this app is easy to use and has ton of potential. Dev needs to respond. ### 1/5 — Good apps, poor planning *2013-06-28, version 2.3.1* I first like this app a lot. I have 30 gallon cube in my office, small enough to use the lite version. Then I get 250 gal reef tank at home, and the lite version could not record 2 tanks and 10+ fish/coral. So I get the pro version. Here is the problem, that makes me angry.! Where is the transfer data function from lite to pro? You don't freking expect customer to re-enter all the data in the lite version into the pro, do you? What's the incentive to pay more if we stuck with 2 apps. STUPID!! More work to do data entry instead of enjoying fish? I going to ask iTunes to return my money.!!! ### 1/5 — DONT GET *2011-11-16, version 1.1.1* Don't get u have to pay for it and it has ADDS! Also u can only put one fish tank in!! It says to do more than one u have to buy the pro which is $3!!!!!!! NEVER GET!!!!!! ### 2/5 — Can't transfer data from lite to pro? *2016-04-30, version 3.0.6* The was app was helpful at first, BUT then I purchased the pro version and discovered that I cannot transfer ANY of my data from the lite version to the pro version....so I have to re-enter everything. This is regardless of the fact that they have an "export" button. MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT!!! The database consists of inhabitants geared toward hobbyists. You can customize inhabitants but you are unable to use compatibility info. Over all a good basic way to store water quality results. ### 3/5 — Be sure you want this version. *2013-05-25, version 2.3.1* The app works great to remind you of when to change carbon, Purigen, etc. I gave it three stars because there is no way to upgrade to the full version. Beware you can only save 10 inhabitants. I would like to remove or at least sort items that I do not test for as well as have a desired range defined for each item so I can see or be alerted when an any are out of range. Possibly an chart overlay of all test items at once. It reminds me when I am overdue for a water change, how old my light bulbs are, what my last water test parameters were ( and when I measured them, which could have been months). I really like the alert function which reminds you to do whatever you have set it for. If you set it to remind you to do something like replace carbon every 40 days, but don't get around to it for 35 days, it knows to set the next reminder 30 days later - not 30 days from the original due date.
