The story is engaging, gameplay exciting, and graphics are beautiful. My original review complained about getting lost - that remains true and using a walkthrough online is nearly essential at certain points. Even with that said - this game is a masterpiece and a work of art. Recently learned this was made by TWO people. David And Alec created nearly everything. Simply stunning. Wish more iOS games were like this. Original review: I love this game, simply put. However, I've owned it for 6 months and frequently get stuck and stop playing for weeks. When I pick the game back up it is nearly impossible to remember where you have been or where you need to go next. The story doesn't lead you like many games and each new area provides a new challenge that may not be clear. It takes a long time to complete - because it actually creates a universe that you WANT to hear about. It's challenging - but not impossible. It's pretty and interesting. It's definitely worth a lot more than I paid for it, and it's one of the few iPad games I immediately started replaying from the start. Just played it again after many years and it’s as amazing as first time I played. Works well with the stylus for gameplay . Don’t hesitate, you won’t regret. One of the most Intuitive and vast adventure games out there. So creative and and just full of wonder. Thank you. It must be 9 years ago now that I played this on one of the early if not the first iPads, my daughter was old enough to play it, and it’s still one of the best and greatest games I ever played; challenging, fascinating and unique. I played through the whole game, it was like a complete experience, I feel no need to do it over again, but I like to keep it on my iPad for my personal hall of fame. I hope it will still work on latest devices as one day when I have time I will revisit it. I’m still looking for another Aquaria when I look for games; haven’t found it yet :). This is one of the few good, polished games on the AppStore. The music is especially good. One of the problems with the game is that having a mini map visible all the time, really prevents you from appreciating the beauty and immense scale of the world your exploring. Please add a option to make the mini map invisible. Also can you make a sequel. It's taken me a while as the game play is complex and does not offer up its secrets without a struggle...but it is worth the early frustration as new abilities are discovered and exploration of the incredible world of Aquaria is revealed. One small niggling issue; touch screen controls are difficult in some areas and seem a bit slow to respond which is frustrating. Otherwise...WOW.
