### 2/5 — It is ok

*2026-03-15, version 9.1.2*

I started using a couple of weeks ago from recommendations found on the internet for tests tracking.

But whenever I try to open the settings it crashes, text is overlapping on the headers, the search doesn’t work properly.

I have my iphone on the default zoom settings. The UI is a bit clumsy, it wasn’t really worth it paying for it.

### 3/5 — Buggy

*2025-12-13, version 9.1.2*

App was ok on iPhone, however tying to link (which costs money) with iOS Mac, can’t then sign in consistently on either devices. Gives a meaningless error message.

### 1/5 — Buggy buggy buggy

*2025-06-26, version 9.1.2*

Another update which fails to fix the problem introduced by the previous update. App crashes EVERYTIME you try and enter the settings menu. No response from developer. Cannot be recommended in current form. Most updates introduce new bugs which takes months to be finally sorted. Wish I’d never updated. Developer needs to pull buggy version and roll back to make it usable again or fix right away not leave loyal customers suffering from a failing product

### 3/5 — Buggy

*2025-06-20, version 9.1.1*

Whenever I go to edit livestock the app closes. This is on an iPhone 14+. No problem entering new values in parameters but part of the attraction of the app for me was to have everything available and uptodate. Unfortunately, I may have to seek out alternative options.

### 4/5 — Love it so far!

*2025-03-28, version 9.1*

Just starting to use the app, but I love it so far I have so much more data to enter into it so I can track it. My only question is can my husband use the app on his phone also

### 1/5 — App was ruined

*2025-03-25, version 9.1*

Updates made the app worse. For example you can add salinity to 1.0255 and now it rounds it up. AquaticLog is better

### 3/5 — Pretty basic

*2025-03-13, version 9.1*

The analysis of testing parameters is nice but I wish they included a stocking calculator and more varied species of fish In the database.

### 1/5 — Bugs when using with iPad

*2025-03-05, version 9.1*

When it works, it’s great ! But often, too often, when I try to use the app it shows the main screen then shuts down after a few seconds. It’s very frustrating and making this application useless. I know this problem was reported many years ago with IOS. Why isn’t it fixed ?

### 4/5 — Best solution thus far

*2025-02-02, version 9.1*

Love the app, pricing is fair, great way to keep track of all the corals. However there is room for improvement, like being able to click on a photo and see a enlarged photo vs. the reduction that happens currently.

In general if the devs read this, please consider a Ui review. Some of the features would do well to have a shortcut present or option at add from other areas.

### 1/5 — Inactive development

*2024-12-03, version 9.1*

Wouldn’t recommend… great app in terms of ability but they are no longer updating therefore many bugs, whilst ghosting you for months, when contacting them.

### 4/5 — Polecam :)

*2024-11-23, version 9.1*

Bardzo fajna aplikacja. Super, że można obsługiwać na telefonie i komputerze. Brakuje mi możliwości edycji strony głównej - może kiedyś będzie :)

### 4/5 — Fantastic app for aquarium management!

*2024-11-16, version 9.1*

I’m relatively new to aquariums, only having had one for about 1.5 years. Over that time, I went from a 5.5 gallon to a 9 gallon to a 75 gallon that I just started up about 2 months ago. The Aquarimate app has been WONDERFUL for tracking water parameters, tank inhabitants, light settings, filter media changes, feeding schedules, and so on. Love the customizable task reminders, so I don’t have to worry about remembering when to do each little thing. I highly recommend this app!

### 1/5 — No customer service

*2024-11-03, version 9.1*

No one answers issues and questions you make ask.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Can’t even see my fish

*2026-04-10, version 9.1.2*

I bought the app, and I have googled/watched videos/read through reviews to get help as to why it won’t actually save fish to tanks so I can see them and track their care which is the whole point of me getting the app. Very disappointed. Basically useless to me.

### 1/5 — This app fails hard

*2026-02-19, version 9.1.2*

I have very common Tanganyikans, only 1 of them are in the database. The canister filter section doesn’t even have a single canister filter to choose from. You can’t even manually input your fish. Worthless.

### 1/5 — Pure Junk

*2026-01-27, version 9.1.2*

Downloaded the app today for $9.99, selected yearly another $9.99 so my wife and I can both have access.

App crashed every time I go to settings, I have basic freshwater fish, none of which in your data base. Basic plants, not in database, fluval filter not in your database. Higher end food, not in app. Congo tetra is the only thing I have between fish equipment, food, supplies that is on their app. App is pure junk. Had app less than 20 minutes crashed 6 times. Want my money back.

### 1/5 — Do not waste your money! Garbage!

*2025-12-13, version 9.1.2*

Customer service is horrible, non existent. I’m a paid subscriber can’t access my account - says can’t find my subscription. Contacted customer service three times and have heard nothing. Absolute trash.

### 1/5 — Save Your Money

*2025-09-27, version 9.1.2*

I really wanted to like this app, but it’s been nothing but frustrating. It’s super buggy, constantly glitching, and doesn’t seem to support freshwater tanks very well at all. The UI feels outdated and clunky, not intuitive at all. I reached out for support and got nowhere—pretty unhelpful overall. Honestly, this app is not worth the $10 price tag. Save your money and look elsewhere.

### 1/5 — Wasted $10

*2025-09-03, version 9.1.2*

I have mollies, school of leopard bush fish, and a axolotl, all in separate tanks. None of which is found on the app. Very disappointed. Or options to add different species.

### 1/5 — Crashes and Doesnt have my fish

*2025-08-24, version 9.1.2*

I just paid $10 for this and when you click settings, it crashes. Then when I went to search for my fish, it doesn’t even have my Candy Cane Tetras in the database. I even tried all the other nicknames and the scientific name. Nothing. I’ve owned this app for 10 min, and I can’t get my money back.

### 1/5 — Awful

*2025-07-08, version 9.1.2*

Hard to understand Very Limited Fish Directory

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2025-07-06*

I have already sent a support request and no one responded, every time I open the app settings it closes, when I go to select the date everything goes white, I paid to have an app that would help me and that is not what is happening.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Bricked

*2025-06-04, version 9.1.1*

Latest update won’t even let me open app. Will be requesting a refund. I have been relying on this app.

### 5/5 — 10/10

*2025-05-17, version 9.1*

Amazing app exactly what you need simple and with a great amount of information

### 5/5 — App

*2025-03-27, version 9.1*

### 5/5 — Love it

*2025-03-13, version 9.1*

Great having all my numbers and stock in one place

### 5/5 — Love It

*2025-02-04, version 9.1*

Great for beginners

### 5/5 — Ottimo

*2025-02-04, version 9.1*

Ottima app
Peccato non ci siano aggiornamenti recenti :-(

### 5/5 — Best App for tracking your red systems

*2025-01-18, version 9.1*

I have tried multiple apps to track my reef systems and this one is by far the best.

I have 5 reef tanks and this application allows me to track all them with ease. Test notes, tank changes, livestock tracking, equipment tracking, total tank cost of ownership are all included.

The tasks section has changed how reef. With 5 tanks the tasks remind me to change filter socks, what to dose and when, coral food, trace elements and of course water changes.

It is more intuitive and user friendly than the similar functions within my Neptune Apex.

### 5/5 — Aquarimate - sehr nützliche App

*2024-11-01*

### 5/5 — Best app by far!

*2024-08-05, version 9.1*

I downloaded 5+ aquarium tracking apps. This one was by far the best!

### 5/5 — Perfect for mixed reef!

*2024-08-04, version 9.1*

I tried several free apps before buying this one. This app is actually incredibly well designed. Visually organized, attractively designed, just the right amount of detail for thorough reef tank tracking & logging. The app developers seem to have thought of everything and knew exactly where to put the data for easy reference. BEST APP FIND IN A LONG TIME.
