## Most critical reviews (7 lowest-rated)

### 3/5 — Marine focus

*2022-08-21*

It says ‘freshwater’ but the whole app is geared to reef tanks. It desperately needs a ‘freshwater’ switch to get rid of all the marine related info and capabilities.

### 3/5 — Good but needs improvements

*2022-03-29, version 1.0.3*

I use this app to keep track of water parameters in my two tanks. Even though I selected the freshwater tab it has defaulted to salt water and will not change back to “freshwater “. The other issue that I’m having is that it maxed out on one page of notes per aquarium and there is no scroll option to see additional notes so I am worried I have lost my newest notes. If these two things are fixed I think it could be a great app.

### 3/5 — Ads

*2021-03-15, version 1.0.2*

How can I use without ad pop ups that you can’t close out?

### 4/5 — Great app to track essentials

*2025-08-06, version 1.0.3*

Great tracker for parameters and stock. Thank you so much for being completely free! It offers a basic way to track essentials. The only criticisms I have are that I cannot find a note once I typed it in (maybe I didn’t save it?) and the aquarium database has never loaded for me. But those are not essentials so overall it’s a great app!!

### 4/5 — Almost perfect

*2023-08-06, version 1.0.3*

Love the app and I tried a few.
Very practical and user friendly just wish the fish and coral database worked

### 5/5 — Not perfect, but still great

*2025-11-05, version 1.0.3*

But the issues are minor. It works really well, is free, and has no ads.

### 5/5 — Good app, needs an update to be great

*2023-10-29, version 1.0.3*

First off, I would actually rate this at 3.5 if I could get a half star, so I rounded down.

This app covers a lot of ground. Highlights include:

1. Easy to use parameter log
2. Parameter guidance
3. Nice Livestock tracking feature
4. Equipment & Maintenance tracking (haven’t touched this one yet)

I dropped my rating for a few reasons:

1. You have to enter items into the parameter log linearly. If you miss a day and want to enter it after the fact, it doesn’t show up correctly in the timeline (shows up as the current entry).
2. You can’t edit the parameter logs other than deleting an entry.
3. The parameter guidance has some bad entries; calcium and magnesium are linked to incorrect parameters (alkalinity or PH, I believe).
4. The livestock tracker has four categories (fish, coral, inverts, & plants) and defaults to plants. While you can edit the entries in the livestock tracker, you cannot edit the category so, if you don’t change the default, you have to delete and redo the entry.
5. Also in the livestock tracker there are places for cost and number of fish. Unfortunately, if you add more than one fish to a single entry the app doesn’t calculate the cost or give you an accurate count. Each fish, etc. must be entered individually.
5. There is a database section that looks like it could be very powerful/helpful. Unfortunately the wheels just spin and no data appears.

I really like this app, but the above five items knocked my rating down. I hope the developer does decide to update the app because I think this app could move from being a good tool to being a great one.
