### 4/5 — Like this app

*2018-12-13, version 3.4.144*

Like this app except for two things that maybe I don’t understand. 1. Separate or ability to choose water, tea, soda, etc. 2. Ability to only do a time line of 24 hours, so amounts don’t conflict from day to day. Thanks.

### 3/5 — Cute but won’t sync

*2018-09-05, version 3.4.144*

Love the extra touches to motivate you to drink more water- going to try opening app on phone and watch at the same time to see if it will sync. Right now my watch and app are both showing yesterday’s (+ the day before that) info and can’t start a new day. 😕

### 3/5 — Great app!

*2018-03-09, version 3.4.144*

The app works great but has problems syncing with my phone. My watch will display a different amount than what my phone has. Sometimes the only way to get them to sync is to open the apps on both devices. Needs to be updated.

### 5/5 — Great water app

*2017-08-17, version 3.2.133*

I loving the water animation that shows every time I tap the add button. I want to buy an Apple Store Watch now just to try this app on the watch.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2017-08-10, version 3.2.133*

I love this app, easy to use and the watch app adds extra convenience

### 5/5 — Best Watch App in the App Store

*2017-08-09, version 3.2.133*

This water hydration app works great! Apple Watch and iPhone stay in sync, and display the amount consumed reliably. The App also stores data in HealthKit so other Apps can read these values. In addition if you have HealthKit setup, it will read your sex and weight and use these values when it calculates the amount of water you should consume. This app is also very reliable, and I've never seen it crash.

### 4/5 — Nice and easy to use

*2017-07-09, version 2.2.108*

Really like how easy it is to use. The graphics are neat too! They just need to update the watch app as it currently doesn't work with the complications

### 4/5 — Highly recommend

*2017-06-24, version 2.2.108*

I got this app while taking part in a weekly health challenge, and I've kept using it because it is just right for me. I'm drinking 113 oz a day now and that is awesome!!

The only thing I wish were different is being able to enter intake on the lock screen when the notification pops up.

### 3/5 — 5 Stars, if it was consistent

*2017-05-06, version 2.2.108*

This app does everything I need to remind me to drink more and track it. I like the automatic reminders that aren't based on the time. Maybe a little excessive for me, but that's jut because I'm not drinking often enough; It still helps me drink more than when I had time reminders set up. However... after a week or so of working perfectly, I started to notice it wasn't keeping my added total correctly. Seems to work fine throughout the day, then I'd get home and go to enter what I'd drank in the car and it'd pop back to my amount from 7am that morning. How does it just lose 36+ ounces that I had added while at work? Other than bathroom breaks, I'm within 15 feet of my phone from 6am until at least 5pm, and I'm always next to it when I update my intake. Plus it didn't do this the first few days, so what gives? On top of that, it doesn't clear my total at the end of each day. I have to go into my phone each morning and go look at the graph and go back out before it resets to zero. Again, didn't happen the first few days. I spend three times as long resetting and correcting than I do using it to track, so I'm on the quest again to find a simple tracker that does what I want. Pity since this was so easy when it worked and didn't have a bunch of unwanted stuff on it.

Also, in case anyone else is new to the watch, paying for the app to have better sounds won't make it work through the watch. NOT the app's fault, that's all on Apple. But just FYI. I was happy to pay a buck for the lightsaber and Star Wars sounds, and even the simple water drop, but was disappointed to find out afterward that the watch doesn't support custom sounds. Fun for the phone, but as I can't have my phone out at work due to there being a camera, I rely completely on the watch all day. I have it on silent to not irritate my coworkers with a hundred reminders through the day, but they would've just had to learn to love it if I could hear a Jawa yell at me each time.

### 5/5 — App review

*2017-03-26, version 2.2.108*

Easy to use! Love it!

### 4/5 — Reads Water Entered with Other Apps

*2017-02-08, version 2.2.108*

I've gone though & purchased a number of water tracking apps the past few days, and out of all of them this is the only version that I've found which both:

1. Reads data from Health so that if water is added though a different app it will show here.
2. Supports Apple Watch completions.

A lot of other water tracking apps support complications on apple watch, but none of them ever seem to recognize water added via other apps (such as meal tracking apps).

For this reason, this has become my app of choice. About the only thing I don't like with this app is the inclusion of a water drop emoji in the name (it's a bit annoying).

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Should have been great

*2018-01-04, version 3.3.140*

Should have been simple and easy. It was until it started inexplicably switching from mL to oz! It had me at 55,500mL?! And I couldn’t manually enter the correct amount! Deleted the app. Disappointed.

### 1/5 — Does not work with Apple Watch

*2017-09-27, version 3.2.133*

The water quantity does not always reset when a new day starts. In fact, often, on the watch, it doesn’t reset at all. Then the incorrect watch water numbers clobber the ones on the phone app, making it incorrect. No response from my emails to developers. Do not use this app with the Apple Watch.

### 1/5 — Does not reset each day

*2017-07-07, version 2.2.108*

Good idea badly executed. I had this app on my watch and it doesn't reset each day and I wound up adding water to yesterday's total. And then after a couple of times, it finally resets to the present day. Annoying!

### 2/5 — Useful because simple, but very buggy

*2019-12-14, version 3.4.144*

When it works, it does its simple job. But to start every day, on the phone it has to be opened and wiped from memory and reopened in order to begin with 0 oz. Sometimes even that does not work. Most of the time, watch and phone app sync, but not always.

### 2/5 — Can’t depend on it

*2019-06-04, version 3.4.144*

It has not been switching to 0 next day. I had to manually delete water cause it did not start over. Otherwise it is cute especially on watch. Update... still so unreliable.., I am going to delete it.

### 2/5 — Does not sync with Apple Watch

*2019-01-05, version 3.4.144*

I like that this app reminds me to stay hydrated, however there are sync issues with my Apple Watch. If I update my water intake on my watch, it does not update on the mobile app and visa-versa. This is annoying and causes inaccuracies. I hope the developer fixes this bug!

### 2/5 — Buena idea- no funciona bien

*2018-08-22, version 3.4.144*

### 2/5 — Has some flaws in syncing

*2018-07-10, version 3.4.144*

Love the ease and simplicity of the app but the majority of the days it would log my water intake properly on the phone but not with my I-Watch. It became a problem and I had to transfer to another app. Bummer.

### 2/5 — It would be 5 stars, but...

*2017-08-15, version 3.2.133*

This app would be great if it worked correctly. The app will not reset for each day, and I could find no way to reset it myself. Also, it does not sync correctly with my watch. It should show the same amount that I drank on the watch as on my phone, but it does not. I haven't found any other water tracker that I like, but am too frustrated to use this.

### 2/5 — Deletes entries with Apple Watch.

*2016-10-13, version 2.0.100*

I thought this app was going to be perfect: it has an Apple Watch complication that shows your progress and easily lets you add water.
After several days of knowing I hit my goal I looked at the Apple health app and this app does crazy stuff: it apparently is deleting previous entries and then rewriting the total amount all at once when it syncs. In other words- at the end of the day there is one big entry for 80oz of water 😑

But more importantly: when you add water using the Apple Watch while away from your phone, when you get back in Bluetooth range it DELETES all those entries and goes back to what it was before.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Aqueous app

*2023-01-28, version 3.4.144*

Nothing really to say other than, it’s easy to use and does the job, I would recommend.

### 5/5 — Great app, great service

*2020-04-02, version 3.4.144*

This is a great App for quickly updating the drinks you have and keeping on track.
I’ve had much more energy and less headaches since monitoring my intake. I like that you can adjust your goal based on exercise level.
Also, when I asked a question I got a fast and positive response from the developer- great service.
I’ve upgraded to get the full features.

### 5/5 — Worth every penny

*2019-07-15, version 3.4.144*

I like how simple and elegant this app is to use. I’ve used others where they ask way too many questions before you can enter what you’ve drunk. For example why do other apps need to know how much tea or juice I’ve drunk? The amount of water in tea or juice is almost 100% if not 99% so it’s a superfluous question. This app doesn’t waste time with unnecessary things and makes the experience super easy and fun to use.

I had purchased the internal upgrade to unlock the water images and the full notification sounds. These are fantastic upgrades.

### 5/5 — Best App!!

*2019-04-27, version 3.4.144*

This app is great. Gives a nice gentle reminder every time to drink water. It works really amazing on the Apple Watch as well. Very reliable app too. I have never seen it crashing. Overall amazing and I would recommend this app!!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2018-12-19, version 3.4.144*

This app works great to keep track of water intake, as well as when to hydrate... cuz honestly don’t we all need a reminder sometimes...

### 5/5 — I like it a lot

*2018-05-08, version 3.4.144*

I highly recommend this app, especially if you have an Apple Watch. It's very entertaining to use, specially when you've reached your goal for the day -- there's a nice surprise when you reach your daily target. Nice work!

### 5/5 — Better than the others

*2018-02-24, version 3.4.144*

*BE AWARE OF OTEHR APPS* This is the only good water app! I like how this app works with asking to correct set of questions to orkout what you need to drink -- unlike how the other apps sk you use 100% useless information such as your age and what you were drinking. This app is well laid out and works using a scientific algorithm. -Which is nice!

### 5/5 — Very Classy

*2017-12-24, version 3.3.140*

I've been using this app for a few days now and I've found it very useful. I especially like to the selection of the notificaiton sounds. Nice touch wiht the Christmas theses. Thanks.

### 5/5 — Great app!!!

*2017-10-12, version 3.3.140*

I am not much of a water drinker but this app keeps me right on track now I make sure that I get in my 88 ounces a day.

I am feeling so much better and have so much more energy. I love the reminders that are sent to your cell phone to drink water throughout the day I went out to Trader Joe's and bought two cases of water this morning
Loretta

### 5/5 — I love the Watch App

*2017-09-09, version 2.0.100*

It's nicely designed and it's fun to use too. Well done!

By the way, I found the hidden duck ;-)
