Aquod is a field data entry app for completing the USACE Northcentral and Northeast Region Wetland Determination Data Form (Version 2.0). SOIL INDICATOR ENGINE
Hydric soil indicator suggestions are evaluated against USDA NRCS v9.2 (2025) criteria, covering all applicable A, S, and F indicators for loamy, clayey, sandy, and organic textures. Indicators requiring visual confirmation, landform context, regional restriction, or confirmatory field tests are flagged with a warning rather than auto-checked. FORM COVERAGE
Full coverage of the NCNE v2.0 data form: project and site header, all hydrology primary and secondary indicators with depth fields, all four vegetation strata, all soil profile fields (up to 12 horizons with matrix and redox data), all standard and problematic hydric indicators, summary of findings, and final wetland determination.

PRIVACY
No backend. No account. No telemetry. All field data is stored locally in SQLite on your device and is never transmitted anywhere. What's New in v1.0.4
This update improves PDF accuracy, fixes a vegetation calculation error, fixes a UI error, refines a hydric soil indicator recommendation, and adds per-plot Section/Township/Range entry for projects that span multiple PLSS sections.

Per-Plot PLSS - Section, Township, and Range can now be set independently for each sample plot. The field auto-populates from your project-level entry but is fully editable — useful for larger projects crossing multiple sections or townships.

PDF Form Updates - The exported PDF now matches the current ENG FORM 6116-8 (Sep 2024) header layout, including the OMB control number box. The footer, condition row formatting, and summary remarks spacing have also been corrected to more closely match the official form.

Prevalence Index Fix - The Prevalence Index calculation now correctly includes all recorded species regardless of cover percentage, consistent with USACE methodology. Previously, only species with ≥2% cover were included.

Edit Project UI Header - The Edit Project screen accidentally showed the app folder structure at the top of the screen and that has been fixed/removed.

Hydric Soil Engine Refinements - The A5 (Stratified Layers) suggestion now requires at least one thin layer with qualifying dark or organic color/texture before flagging, reducing false positives on mineral profiles.
