## What is AR Camera ◉?

Create amazing videos with the power of augmented reality right from your phone!

Add like effects like floating bokeh or falling snow, 3D Text and emojis. Create your scene, shoot a video and share with your friends and family! 

Wether you are a professional film maker or simply looking to add some wow to your social posts and stories, this app is for you!

AR Camera scans the environment to add shadows from the virtual objects onto the real world. 

Virtual objects look even more real now with physically based textures
Virtual objects will disappear behind the detected flat surfaces like magic!

Once the app starts, perform a quick scan of the floor so the app can understand roughly what’s around, then tap on + to select and add a 3D emoji, object or text style to add onto the surfaces detected. The more you move, the more the app will understand its environment.

Oh one thing though, make sure there is enough light! 

Select any 3D text, emojis and objects and drag up / down or left right to rotate. You can always change the position too by tapping on the move button (bottom right)

Finally, you can scale objects with a simple pinch and zoom gesture. Easy!

Nice ar quality, allows you to add custom text and and emojis into your surroundings, but what about custom models?

If you save a 3D file on your phone, in the Files app for example, you can then share it to AR Camera (make sure the app is open first) - also you may have to rescale the object as they usually appear at 100x scale 😬

This app is impressive stuff, it tracks unique points in 3D space almost flawlessly and the 3D objects always stay where they’re put even when you move far away from them. Lots of fun to play with :) my only suggestion is work on real objects going in front of the 3D objects obstructing them such as walls and trees.

**Developer response:** Thank you! The occlusion is already active in the app, slowly “scan” the surface obstructing the virtual object and you’ll see it disappear. It works great if you place a virtual object under a table,  and then "scan” the table top.
