ぜひ、日本１００名城にも選ばれた、「府内城」の姿をお手持ちのスマートフォン、タブレットでご覧ください。
大分市の中心市街地に位置する府内城は、かつて別府湾に注ぐ大分川の河口に面して築かれ、複雑な地形を天然の要害とした平城でした。
城の白壁が水に浮かぶようにみえるその姿から、別名「白雉城（はくちじょう）」とも呼ばれ、自然石を中心に積まれた石垣は江戸時代の面影を残し、独特の景観をもたらしています。
ぜひ、当時の「府内城」の姿をご覧ください。
