## What is Arabian Nights Companion?

Arabian Nights Companion is a companion app for the board game Tales of the Arabian Nights.

Features:
- The biggest problem we found with playing this game was the time it would take to refer to the different matrices in the game and to get to the storytelling aspect of the game. So we created a fast and easy way to look up prompts from The Book of Tales without having to reference any matrices in the game.
- Did you dislike having to find a given status card each time you were to gain a status in the game? So did we.  Now just add that status to an ongoing list and remove them as needed. All flavor text and details on those cards have been included.
- Tired of too many skill tokens in front of you? Are they constantly being slid across the table or falling on the ground? Well, we were too. Now just add your status tokens into the app, and tap them to toggle that skill as "mastered".

### 2/5 — No matrices required…except those, and those

The description says this app means you won’t have to look up any matrices. However, it doesn’t properly select the descriptor on special encounter matrices (eg locations on Matrix N, jailer temperament on Matrix K, any of the encounters on the King of Thieves quest…). 

You only get to choose a matrix, then a response, and as a result, it usually presents the incorrect para number. This means you still need to keep the matrices on the table, which kinda defeats the purpose of the app.

For example, encountering the Dendan on a water space leads to a Matrix N encounter. ‘Avoid’ in the Dendan row of this matrix should result in para 1180, but the app throws back 1133 for everything. While there are 9 locations in Matrix N for which this is appropriate, there are another 9 that have completely different numbers.

Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a bug where location difficulty couldn't be set to zero.
- Fixed a bug when looking up an individual matrix, the incorrect options showed up. Before it would show you the verbs rather than the adjectives, but now prompts you for the adjective first and then the possible verbs after.
- Fixed a bug when your encounter total (roll, location difficulty, and bonuses) was over 12, it wouldn't give you the correct prompt.

Changes:
- Changed font throughout the app for easier readability.
- Moved the encounter matrix tab to the first tab position since this is the most used feature.
