This issue is related to the volume that is being changed by the buttons. Please follow these instructions: 1. Click on Settings, then on Sounds & Haptics. 2. Under Ringer and Alerts: Turn off “Change with Buttons”. Then turn on your volume both from the physical buttons on the left side of your iPhone and in the slider under “Ringer and Alerts”. 3. Open the app and try the sound. If it doesn’t work, please toggle back to settings, and adjust the slider again until you hear the sound of you ringer. Toggle back to the app and it should work...
