Thankfully I've studied Arabic for 3 years and can understand that the verbs are in past tense form for He (هو). Maybe if the verbs had present tense form for I (أنا) you would be able to use the vocabulary to have a conversation. Other than that maybe you could throw in some more adjectives and mix up the verb tenses. They are easy, fast, and effective. In fact, I learned more using their (FREE) app, and in less time, than I did with my $299 Rosetta Stone. And notice I said their "free" versions....
