## Most critical reviews (6 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Audio

*2025-09-10*

This app does not have any audio, so I do not know if I am reading / pronouncing the words correctly.

**Developer response:** It has never been claimed or was it ever written anywhere that this app includes audio pronunciations of the Arabic verbs. You know how to read the verbs correctly by looking at the diacritic marks. I had even included a link in the app description to a video that provides a demo showing how this app clearly works. If you are unsure about how to read Arabic, then this app is too advanced for you, unfortunately. You can request a refund (handled by Apple).

### 1/5 — Not good

*2024-07-11*

This app does not have a search engine. You can only learn the basic basic safe of the work that are programmed in the app.

**Developer response:** This app is for learning the principles of sarf. As the description of the app states, it covers “the 10 Foundational Arabic verb forms with numerous examples given in each”. In fact, there are 90 verbs given in total at present to practice the sarf principles with. Even though this is stated in the description and shown in the screenshots, I’m sorry if it was not clear enough. A one star review is very harsh, given that this app is the first of its kind to our knowledge that teaches sarf on iOS to this level of depth with highly detailed explanations and practice opportunities. Nevertheless, we are aiming to continually improve the app further and add more functionality to it.

### 5/5 — Decent app

*2025-05-20*

The feature that allows users to practice by writing is a robust way to internalize the rules. Flashcards and multiple-choice questions alone aren’t sufficient for deep learning.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your positive feedback!

### 5/5 — Sarf

*2025-02-05*

Add more vocabulary

**Developer response:** Your feedback is very appreciated. I’ll keep that in mind for the next update. Jazakallah!

### 5/5 — Amazing app

*2024-09-12*

It’s an amazing app. The developer has created something genius. If he can add a way to input out own letter, that would be great.

**Developer response:** Thank you very much for your review, Jafar! Positive reviews like this are gold to a niche developer like me, so I am super grateful. I am hoping to release a new version of this app with many more features by the end of the year inshallah. Could I kindly ask you to explain your request further via email to afa.developer@outlook.com please? I will try to include it in the next version.

### 5/5 — بارك الله فيكم!

*2024-03-27*

Although it’s very simple (for now), I absolutely love it. I was doing something similar manually to study Sarf, so this has really saves me a ton of time.

Recommended/Request: Please adjust some of the color combinations so it’s easier to read, because the black text over dark gray background isn’t the best.

وأسأل الله أن يجعل هذا الجهد ثقيلاً في ميزانكم

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! Your recommendation will be considered for the next update. Please to forward any other recommendations that might come to your mind in the future as well.
