ArabicTyper teaches you to read and type Arabic, from the first letter. You start with alif. Seven short units cover the alphabet letter by letter. One covers tashkeel, the small marks that change a word. Eight more teach the most common words, and the last one everyday phrases and short sentences. All together that's 17 units and 36 lessons. Each lesson shows you the new letters, has you find them on the keyboard, then has you type real words from the script, from Arabizi, and from English. In between you build words from letter tiles, pick meanings, and type what you hear. You can type on the app's own Arabic keyboard or your phone's. Words you miss come back in a review queue, spaced further apart each time you get them right. A daily goal and one optional reminder keep you going. There are no accounts and no ads, and your progress stays on your phone. Lesson 1 is free. ArabicTyper Pro opens the whole course and every practice mode. ArabicTyper Pro costs $7.99 a month, $39.99 a year, or $79.99 once for lifetime. The yearly plan starts with 7 free days, and you can cancel anytime. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The app now runs on the newest app framework, which keeps it working with the latest iOS and makes future updates easier. Nothing changes on screen, and your lessons and progress stay as they are. Lesson 1 is still free. Start with alif and type your first Arabic words today. ### 1.0.6 — 2026-09-22 Fixes a crash that stopped the app from opening on iOS 27. If ArabicTyper closed as soon as you tapped it, this update fixes that. Your lessons and progress are safe. Lesson 1 is still free. Start with alif and type your first Arabic words today. ### 1.0.5 — 2026-09-22 Settings has a new Rate ArabicTyper row, and after you've finished a few lessons the app may ask for a rating once. The app also records how long each typed word takes and how many wrong keys it gets, so we can see which lessons are too hard and fix them. Your lessons and progress stay as they were. Lesson 1 is still free. Start with alif and type your first Arabic words today. ### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-19 A small update. Some new learners now see the Pro options at the end of the welcome screens, before lesson 1. Your lessons and progress stay as they were. Lesson 1 is still free. Start with alif and type your first Arabic words today. ### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-18 A small update. The word units and the Pro screen said "the commonest words", which read oddly, so they now say "the most common words". Lesson 1 is still free. Start with alif and type your first Arabic words today. ## More apps by Bobo Labs Oy - [Tfaddalu: Palestinian Arabic](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/tfaddalu-palestinian-arabic/id6784313314) All apps by Bobo Labs Oy: https://appshunter.io/developer/1789949459 --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
