### 4/5 — Good app

*2026-02-28, version 2.0.5*

It’s not a perfect app and it does still have some bugs it’s gotta fix. However I do enjoy using this to keep track of my spoods and it does help me a lot keep track of feedings, watering and molts!

### 3/5 — New update.

*2026-02-25, version 2.0.3*

Love this app it helps a lot but this most recent update made all my cards super buggy things aren’t saving and cards are duplicating randomly, i really hope this can be resolved quickly.

### 4/5 — Much improved!

*2026-01-23*

So glad this is still being worked on! It’s getting there!
The app now tells you which animal is due for a meal when it sends alerts. That’s awesome! Definitely a huge help.
I have around 70 tarantulas, some roach colonies, and other feeders, and I would be having a much harder time staying organized without this app.
Looking forward to seeing more amazing, helpful features in the future. Still have high hopes.

**Developer response:** Hey hey! I know this is a late response but Apple doesn't tell me when users leave a review. Not sure if you are still using the app but I definitely have not given up! This app is my baby and been working on it since 2022. Haha. There as been some improvements already since this review. I would love to hear what you think! Best place to communicate is socials or the Discord channel. All can be found in the app! If you reach out make sure to mention this review so I know. Haha. Thanks! -Michael

### 4/5 — Almost perfect

*2025-10-27*

I am using the app to track my jumping spiders. One feature we need is to record stats for egg sacs. Another feature I would love is a photo archive for each spider so I can track color changes for them as well as their chels since they vary and change so much from molt to molt.

Also, I would like to report an issue with transferring cloud data. I use the app on both my iPhone and iPad. Sometimes when I transfer data from one device to the other it will delete all pictures of my spiders, sometimes only some. It’s really frustrating because I have 50 spiders plus egg sacs and communal slings I’m tracking and it’s very time consuming to have to add them all back just for them to be erased again.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review! These are 2 features I am looking to add in very soon! So many things I want to do so little time!

### 2/5 — So much potential…

*2025-09-08*

I keep coming back to this app hoping the dev has taken some suggestions and streamlined functionality.
My previous app just died. No longer available in the app store and broken.
It took me THREE days to update or transfer all 54 spiders to Arachnifiles. No data import or export.
It seems like dev might have gotten overwhelmed by the feedback and sort of… given up?
Friend, this app has SO much potential. But right now, it’s just not there. Great for new keepers and casual keepers who only have a few spiders.

Those of us who have 10+ and/or actively breed spiders, NEED more functionality.
A care tracker app needs to be more useful for tracking feeding, watering, molting, pairing, sac drops, dates, times, time between molts/feedings, whether an animal ate or refused food, etc, than spreadsheets, paper notebooks, and tank stickers.
You’re nearly there!
Maybe sit down with Richard/Tarantula Collective or something and work out details and then implement the changes.
This could be a 5-star app. It just needs some work. 🫶🏻

### 3/5 — Beautiful…

*2025-02-22, version 1.4.0*

This has lots of perks. Looks great. Lots of resources like enclosures, supplies, merch, and access to community, all at your fingertips.
As far as functionality, it falls a little short for me.
I do love the way the rehousing and substrate changes get logged. And being able to easily access care history for things like that.
The information shown on the cards/in the lists is useful, but the info I want to have “at a glance,” isn’t there.
As far as I can find, setting feeding reminders can only be done while logging a feeding. Frustrating.
Molt info is lacking. It’s hard to track trends, “days hungry” - nonexistent, and same goes for “days in premolt,” “previous cycle length,” and “molt cycle predictions.”
The graphs are neat, but seeing “last fed/watered,” is clunky at best.
There’s no way to change the date or time formats.
Date acquired, rehoused, molted, etc are again, not easy to see “at a glance.”
It’s just… clunky.
I have to go into each spider’s info to find what I’m looking for most of the time and then there’s an annoying amount of guesswork or number crunching involved in calculating when which spider needs what.
The feeding graph is basically useless to me. I want to see when the spider last ate quickly, plus when it molted last, how long it’s been, and when I watered it last, so I can then observe the spider and gauge whether it’s hungry, thirsty, out for a stroll, or uncomfortable because a molt is coming up soon.
Most of the time, I don’t really need to know if it had two crickets last time or three. I just need to know if it’s actually hungry or not. The amount of food (tracked and dated by the graph) only tells me whether I need to increase, decrease, or keep the amount the same, but only in conjunction with about half a dozen other factors. I’d rather see when and what quickly first. The dates in the graph are difficult to read, too.
I don’t want to have to go into each spider’s profile to see those things either. I only have 12, but that’s still kind of time consuming. And it gets confusing, “Wait, did I take care of the C. olivaceum yet? When did it molt last again? Ugh.”
I LOVE the idea and all the bells and whistles this app has. The functionality could use some improvements though. So, I’ll keep using the less pretty, but far more functionally useful app (with the annoyingly disruptive ads) and checking back with this one periodically. 🤷🏻

### 2/5 — Struggles

*2025-01-16, version 1.4.0*

I really enjoy this app and the concept of it. But it glitches a LOT and keeps losing my data. Hard to give it a higher review when I can’t really rely on it to be accurate. :(

### 5/5 — One of my fav apps to be on!

*2024-12-25*

I’ve only had for a few days now and it is awesome I think that it is so cool that they have a full blown platform and I just wanted to say for people who are skeptical cuz of the 3.7 stars it is amazing

### 3/5 — Please fix!

*2024-09-15, version 1.3.8*

I really like the app, but I feel like things I save get erased, such as feedings, molts ect. Also currently I can’t even add a new Tarantula card! Please fix this! I have new babies I need to add to this cards!

### 4/5 — I like it

*2024-09-04, version 1.3.7*

I love it but it always gets rid of the pictures I upload from my phone

### 4/5 — Super helpful

*2024-07-24*

Honestly this app is a godsend, especially if you keep a lot of inverts and wanna keep track of them. I love the option to turn on feeding reminders for each specimen.

I’ve had one little issue with the wishlist, (fantastic addition to the app btw) where I will go in to edit the genus/species name and hit save, then hit save again, only for it to stay the same. I’ve tried restarting the app but ran into the same issue. Hope this gets fixed soon because I love that function so much!

### 4/5 — Super awesome, just one thing

*2024-03-01*

Honestly this app is a godsend, especially if you keep a lot of inverts and wanna keep track of them. I love the option to turn on feeding reminders for each specimen.

Only problem I’ve started running into is the app not seeming to save some of my feeding/molting logs? I’ll see them get put down after I save them and I’ll forget about it until the next feeding, only to find that my last log got deleted and I have no clue when I last fed them or they last molted. Fabulous app otherwise, just hope they fix that one thing.

### 3/5 — Will likely update as app updates

*2024-01-27, version 1.3.5*

This is a great app for keeping everything in one place. However, even with the recent updates my pictures are constantly deleting themselves, info I put in just disappears, and it’s just not very user friendly. It’ll usually stay updated while I'm still in the app, but as soon as I close the app and open it again the stuff is gone. It’s very frustrating and I definitely understand this isn’t a huge company making this app so I'm not upset at all, just wanted to leave some feedback about some glitches. There are a lot of good aspects even still and I’d recommend the app for sure if it ends up actually saving the information.

Editing to add: now every single one of my 30 tarantulas has a black page and the pictures have all disappeared.

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2023-09-05, version 1.2.9*

Love having my whole collection at my fingertips
Makes feeding and maintenance easier to manage
Therefore healthier happier T’s.
Thank you

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — App sucks.

*2026-07-07, version 2.0.8*

Can’t upload images of my pets. Please fix this.

### 1/5 — dont waste your time

*2026-07-03, version 2.0.8*

app wont save spider profiles, wont save, constantly crashes, and does not load scientific name.

### 1/5 — Lost everything

*2026-03-23, version 2.0.5*

I’ve been supporting this app from the beginning and I’ve loved it. Since this new update however, I lost years of data and tracking. It’s not the first time it’s happened either. But this time, I lost everything. I just don’t think I will be returning.

### 1/5 — New update ruined the app

*2026-02-26, version 2.0.3*

At first, I thought the new update was awesome. Then today (day 3 of the new update), all my data is wiped from the app. Kinda in a panic due to how many tarantulas I have and that data is VITAL.

### 1/5 — Unusable

*2026-02-04*

I really hate to leave a bad review on something - especially related to one of my favorite hobbies. However, this app is completely unusable. I haven’t even been able to add a single animal to my collection. I have watched the tutorials and everything to make sure I’m doing it right and not skipping steps even though it is pretty self explanatory. However, after selecting a picture, filling everything out, and then clicking “save” absolutely nothing happens. It stays on the same screen where I fill in all the info and the save button just lights back up. I can even spam the save button and nothing happens. I have closed out the app and restarted it as well as logged out of my account and logged back in. Nothing fixes the issue and if I can’t add anything to my collection then the app is useless. I will update my review once this issue is fixed as this app has great potential.

**Developer response:** Hello! Super sorry for the hiccup with the app! Also sorry for the late response. Apple doesn't alert me for reviews. But if you still can't get this to work there are a couple of things. First make sure you have internet connection as it syncs to the cloud for backup. Second, make sure the app has full permissions for files and folders. It needs to save your image correctly. And lastly if all else fails try uninstalling the app completely and then reinstall. Make sure any prompts asking for permission for files and photo you say yes to so it can save. If none of those work please complete a bug report in the user menu (top left corner of the app) so can figure this out!

### 1/5 — Want to like it…

*2023-09-10, version 1.2.9*

I want to like it. It’s a great idea. But can’t even get past the start screen to make my profile. I try to reset my password and when you hit reset, it does nothing. It also claims the password you create never works.

### 1/5 — Horrible since update

*2023-08-15, version 1.2.8*

The app deleted half of my index of spiders I had, and all my feeding info that was in the app as well… might as well delete the whole thing… I lost a lot of good information there ☹️

### 1/5 — Great idea but…

*2023-01-26, version 1.1.9*

This app is a great idea. I love the idea of being able to track your collection but this app is so frustrating to use… how do u delete an entry? How do u close a page? Why does it constantly crash when trying to add a picture? I sure hope the can perfect the functionality of this app so it’s a little more user friendly. A full screen ipad version would also be ideal… for now I would t bother downloading.

### 1/5 — Crashes, errors, etc.

*2022-11-19, version 1.1.8*

Lasted a week, only 4 tarantulas listed, no longer opens properly to uses the app.

### 1/5 — Issues

*2022-06-18, version 1.1.0*

I have multiple T’s saved , but it keeps opening up the same T regardless of which pic/T I select. I tap on my Vagan’s pic and my Gooty’s pic and info comes up. I tap on my Red knee’s pic and my Gooty pic and info comes up. Any suggestions ?????? Thanks,

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app! I’m just not a big fan of the AI use.

*2026-06-27*

i’m new to spiders, and i got pretty overwhelmed over when to feed them but this app calmed that anxiety a lot. it shows me when to feed and charts when i feed them. it also supplies information, pictures, and even has a shop. you can even see other peoples collections of spiders!

the only downside in my opinion, is the amount of AI used. i’m heavily against AI, and the AI spider pictures are everywhere. I can avoid the AI chat bot, but the pictures irk me.

I hope one day they will be able to hire a human to draw for them, but for now, i will continue to use the app to help me and my spiders.

### 5/5 — Crash (update! No crash)

*2026-06-06*

I have 2 tarantulas. I successfully documented all of the info for the 1st one, but every time I add the 2 nd one I get the add for 30 seconds then black screen
Update: June 2026, the developer got ahold of me after making sure they removed the ad that was causing the issue so I am updating my review to 5⭐️ thanks for putting in the work!!

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review. I have removed the ads to watch before adding a new pet. Please give it another try. If it works for you please consider updating your review. If not please use the app to report a bug so I can help you. Thanks!

### 5/5 — Love it

*2026-05-27, version 2.0.8*

Used to crash every time I tried to add a picture but the developer was very responsive, and the problem was fixed quickly - Love how easy it is to keep track of my tarantulas.

### 5/5 — I Don’t Know How I Lived Without It!

*2025-12-23*

This app is so handy! So much easier than keeping an excel spreadsheet or handwriting all the information about my tarantulas in a binder full of papers and separating sheets! I’ll forever be grateful. 🥰

**Developer response:** Thank you for the 5 star review! I'm glad you are finding it helpful! More awesome features coming soon.
