I purchased the FULL version of this game a very long time ago. I’ve returned to find I no longer own what I paid for. You’re required to pay $5 usd per month to play a game that I already paid $5 for! Seems the game has changed hands to a much greedier, and clearly untrustworthy company. I will not be supporting this company.

Paid for this game years back and it is still fun to play occasionally.  Sad to see that they have gone the subscription route, but thankfully they honor my purchase from way back and can still play ad free without subscribing.

This is a good game but it needs some work. First off the sensitivity is at like 100 and I don’t know how to fix it. And you only get it for like 15 minutes before you have to buy a subscription.

If this is what happens I will just stop purchasing apps altogether.  You don’t own me.  I own the game.   This is obscene.   I don’t want this club.  I purchased a game. Years ago, when this game was still owned by Crescent Moon, I bought it and enjoyed it immensely. Recently, I redownloaded it, only to discover that for some bizarre reason, the game has changed hands and now belongs to a group demanding I give them more money to play a game I’ve already bought so that I can have access to other games I’ve no interest in playing. Let me make this clear: I will not be subscribing to your game pass, and I have already bought and own Aralon: Sword and Shadow. Until you remove the content lock on the game and remove ALL parts of the subscription service from the app so that anyone can play it once they’ve bought it without having to spend even more money, this review will remain at one star, and I will not be playing this game again.

Is there a way to zoom out further from my character? And the camera is really sensitive. Also I thought after subbing I wouldn’t get ads popping up advertising other games from gameclub, it’s quite annoying.

I have no clue what the deal is but this stupid icon sits on screen duing all gameplay. I can move it around but never disable it in any way. I’ve never downloaded any game club app so idk where it came from. I’d like the play the game but not if ur gonna physically disrupt it with ur advertisement.

I love that game club has turned an extremely fun game into this so called free AKA Scam game that doesn’t even let you buy it anymore and if you play for free which is how this game originally started which was free is now you only have 15 minutes of play time now which is barely enough time to make a character and maybe play about 8 minutes. The free trial is also a lie got charged as soon as one hour had passed.

When I got this I thought it would let you play with out a timer for it and I didn’t know that you had to pay for the game so you could play. But if you want a game that doesn’t have a timer then you have to go and download dragon.

I’ve had Aralon on my ipad for years (I think since my first gen iPad). The other day I downloaded it again to see if it would work, expecting it to break like most classic games on iPad that haven’t been updated. It was amazing to see that all these years later it has been updated, and Gameclub have offered it for free to people who had the original game. Seriously, hats off to you guys.

I haven’t got a gameclub subscription since I barely have time for games nowadays, but part of me is considering it based on the fact they did this. It’s a massive shame when old classic games on Iphone and ipad are left in the dust, especially since I find the original iPad games way more fun than new, microtransaction-filled games that seem to have no charm.

Would be great to see Gameclub expand further so we can ensure longevity of old classics.

As the title says, I’ve been playing it since around 2011/2012 on my iPod touch 4th gen. I can whole heartedly say, they don’t make mobile games as they used to. I came from a stem of Zenonia 1/2/3, Modern Combat SandStorm, 2: Black Pegasus, 3, and 4: Zero Hour. NOVA 1&2. This game along with these classics will always hold a special place in my heart man.

Aralon Sword & Shadow: still a must play, 10 years later.

For all those out there, who like an RPG, this is definitely worth a go.  If you want to know what it's like, think of Morrowind, which is no bad thing.

The game is dated graphically, but once you get past that, you'll find a gem of a game.  There's bags to do, and lots of quests and side quests to get through.  Additionally you are not limited when you can save, so if in doubt frequent saves are a good thing.  The combat system is similar to that in Morrowind, which is to say haphazard at times, but nothing I can't live with.  Only thing I will mention is that it is a bit of a battery hog, but then again, show a 3D title that isn't.

Since its acquisition by Gameclub, they have fixed the bugs and are constantly sorting out new ones that have been brought about by updates in the iOS/iPadOS.  Contacting support gets a quick turn around in both solutions to problems and fixing bugs, so all credit to them for that.

To all those that have bought the game in the past, we need to be grateful that a new dev is both capable of fixing the problems and has kept their logo to a minimum.  For those subscribing, this is a worthy addition to their stable of games.
