### 2/5 — Use the other app

*2026-07-04, version 3.0.0*

It is confusing that there seems to be too nearly identical apps for the same product… But the other app seems to work better. This app is a little harder to figure out how to change the presets later (after the initial configuration).

This app was recently updated to include a CarPlay feature… I do not use CarPlay, I don’t have any vehicle vehicles that need, but if that is a feature you would like to have, then perhaps this app is better for you.

### 2/5 — Always says running

*2020-08-12, version 1.1.0*

App always says compressor is running even when off...

### 1/5 — Connected but not monitoring

*2020-07-02, version 1.1.0*

I have a late mode Series 1, purchased last year. I just started with the Bluetooth module and can connect to it from the phone but am not able to get any monitoring data. It’s all greeted out and set at zero C.

### 1/5 — Needs work

*2020-02-11, version 1.1.0*

This is a very basic app. The potential could be huge if only ARB cared about the app. It has not been updated in many months.

I believe ARB made this app just to check a box “app enabled.”

It would be nice to see push notifications of voltage, when unit kicks on, etc.

Graphing energy use and time compressor is on, etc would all be helpful.

Update the app and bring some features and I will update my review

### 1/5 — Unable to get the app to work with out elements fridge

*2019-10-19, version 1.1.0*

We bought a new elements fridge and cannot get the app to work with the fridge. The book gives now instruction on how to connect what are we doing wrong

### 1/5 — The app is crap...

*2019-09-26, version 1.1.0*

Will not connect , no instructions , have tried several times no luck . It does not show I’m in Bluetooth either , and you can’t follow the instructions or previous Iphone user /reviewer , cause it does not give you the option to enter a pin , the message just continues to say “ cannot connect , make sure your fridge is on and in range “ nothing about entering a pin . Worthless app I guess that’s what you get for free!

### 2/5 — We got a pile of...nothing

*2019-09-10, version 1.1.0*

Keeps reporting unable to connect, get closer. Sitting right next to transmitter and...nothing. “Unable to find fridge.” Reboot. Disconnect transmitter. Tried it all. Nothing. Help!

### 1/5 — My element fridge can not work like app is described

*2019-08-08, version 1.0*

My element fridge can not work like app Is described. I only can monitor temperature but can not for example change temperature change mods display lock or unlock only to monitor temperature so going back to my old arb monitor.

Developer thank you for your reply and explanation. I m amazed element fridge how much cost doesn’t support it. Comparing other brands like Waeco 2-3 times cheaper comes with the app built in transmitter ready to go with no any attachment required. ARB fridge is very reliable but technology wise way behind.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Won’t connect

*2025-08-17, version 1.1.1*

It use to connect, and now will not recognize my fridge.

### 1/5 — Stop working

*2025-03-12, version 1.1.1*

Stop connecting with my phone..Pls help can’t find the device.

### 1/5 — Finally stopped working

*2025-02-11*

ARB please fix, six years!!!

### 1/5 — Worst. App. Ever.

*2023-07-14, version 1.1.1*

The app is about as good as Hunter Biden is keeping track of his laptop. And I’m assuming the developer was sharing crack with Hunter while creating this dumpster fire of worthless junk.

### 1/5 — ARB Clearly doesn’t care

*2022-09-20, version 1.1.1*

Only 17 reviews and 2 stars and no update in over 2 years. Nothing says I don’t care better than that.

Low number of reviews is probably because it’s a pain to connect. I’d like to meet the product director who signed off on the design of a tiny connector on the end of a flimsy ribbon cable to mate with a recessed connector. I spent a ridiculous amount of time to get that in there and seated, only to have to not work, because it won’t pair. If I’d come here first and saw the poor reviews and no update in years, I wouldn’t have spent the time on it, time I’ll never get back.

“Let’s make a great fridge and then we’ll add a gimmick to it and mess with our customers by making it a really poor design and then we’ll ignore them and the software”.

Thanks.

If only zero stars were permitted for a review. I thought Apple had standards for what they let in the App Store? Responding to customers and updating the software to provide a decent experience to get decent reviews apparently isn’t one of the standards.

### 1/5 — Barely works

*2022-08-20, version 1.1.1*

Disappointed — to say the least. Love my ARB fridge, but this device and app is very poor. Barely works. Surprised there isn’t a fix by now.

### 1/5 — Will not connect - Don’t waste your money on it.

*2022-05-18, version 1.1.1*

Several attempts, over several days to get app to connect to fridge, and no luck.

Great fridge, but Poor app. Our Domestic 2+ yrs now and zero issues with app and fridge.

ARB with all your quality gear, you’d think some of that quality could go into your app.

Cheers,

### 1/5 — Never works

*2021-11-28, version 1.1.1*

App never works. Won’t connect. Have installed and uninstalled multiple time but never works.

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2020-09-18, version 1.1.1*

This app is total trash

### 1/5 — Nearly useless

*2020-09-10, version 1.1.0*

I thought I’d never write a bad review of any ARB product (true hardcore fan of all ARB products) but this app is embarrassing guys. As everyone has noticed, the instructions need updating. Make sure you read the PIN number before plugging it in and then wasting time trying to figure why your phone won’t pair. Silly from the get go. The app could sure use an update. It’s very basic at best and quirky. Could definitely use some basic push notifications such as others have mention. It doesn’t seem to be accurate. Sometimes I can adjust settings and sometimes not. I’ve done everything from disconnecting the module, disconnect power, reinstall etc etc. one day it’s ok and the next it won’t connect. Today I can’t adjust any settings. I mainly liked the idea of being able to turn it on standby remotely and then back on through my iPhone. Today that won’t even work as basic as that should be. I’ve hardwired the fridge (series 2, 60L). Love the fridge. But extremely disappointed with the app. Please source a high school techy and get it upgraded it please!!! Can’t be hard in today’s age. However, Still a fan of ARB tho.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great accessory for ARB elements fridge

*2024-06-19, version 1.1.1*

It allows you to lock/unlock, set 3 different temperature profiles, adjust the temperature, and turn the fridge off and on.

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2021-01-13, version 1.1.1*

Works great!! Would be good if it gave you notifications though

### 5/5 — Perfect !

*2019-07-01, version 1.0*

Worked perfect and as described - great work ARB !

### 4/5 — Carplay

*2024-07-02, version 1.1.1*

Please add CarPlay to app as it would make it much more useful

### 4/5 — Works well but where is Apple CarPlay version?

*2023-09-10, version 1.1.1*

This really works well, I monitor my fridge and the battery with it amd when there was faukt, I could see what was wrong. What ARB needs to add to ther apps is for them to work with Apple CarPlay, please add this ASAP. 🤠

### 4/5 — Carplay

*2022-06-07, version 1.1.1*

Please make it happen to work with carplay.

### 4/5 — Please add CarPlay compatibility

*2021-06-13, version 1.1.1*

Good App for a great fridge. ARB please add CarPlay compatibility for your Apps as it will make your products 100% more user friendly.

### 4/5 — Decent basic app, protip for Classic II Series Owners...

*2020-04-14, version 1.1.0*

Read the pin code off the back of the transmitter before installing on the unit. Their instructions are outdated. Connect using the app, the unit won’t be visible on your phone Bluetooth menu. ARB seriously needs to have better instructions if they’re going to demand such a premium price for these.

### 4/5 — Classic Series II 37qt

*2019-06-09, version 1.0*

Great app. Would be a lot better if it had a graph of power consumption and showed amp draw.

### 3/5 — Finally got it to work

*2019-06-02, version 1.0*

Brand new classic series 2 fridge with wireless. Pairing instructions need improvement. For iPhone, don’t go into Bluetooth settings and expect it to show up. Grab the PIN code off the transmitter itself (before you install it) then go to app, scan and enter PIN and your done.
