Such promising feautures, yet you’ll find that you routinely are waiting an eternity for things to load, “no internet connection” despite having great service, photos not uploading over and over again, map scheme issues, and anything else you can think of. The idea of this software is great, but in application it has been a nightmare and regular embarrassment as well as a frustration. We will use lesser softwares if it means we can have predictable and consistent software because this has gotten unacceptable. ### 1/5 — So buggy *2023-08-13, version 1.23.6* The keyboard won’t stop popping up blocking the access on the screen, gotta shut down and restart the app every time. Demands full time location access, occasionally will not start or end clock time so it appears you didn’t work. Address can send you to wrong location despite appearing correctly. I’ve lost several large jobs this way. The ArboStar app doesn’t have a function on the app to offer feedback. Unless you have great cell coverage through your service area you’re better with pen and paper. ### 2/5 — Great idea, horrible delivery *2022-02-05, version 1.19.2* The credit card processing they use is sketchy to say the least. Told us we would be charged a monthly fee if we didn’t reach a monthly target. They can’t even tell us what that target is. Also can’t use scheduling on a phone or tablet. ### 4/5 — 1 year of use review *2024-01-02, version 1.24.3* We’ve been using for just under a year now and have been happy with it. A good program when we started and they have worked with us on making small changes to customize it for our needs. It’s pretty useful and intuitive. Most clients are surprise with the professionalism of my estimates. They have a very supportive team that helps you fix problems. However, there definitely are problems. Not always do you have time to explain or email each issue that comes up due to time constraints running a business. There have been entire estimates that I have completed only to disappear before sending. Off-line this app is completely useless. However, if you have a good cell service, the app isn’t terrible. All in all, I’d have to say it’s helped me run my business but at times totally screwed me. I don’t think they deserve a three star but they aren’t quite a five star by any means.
