## What is ArbR Pro?

ArbR Pro is the all-purpose tool for German employment law practice – developed and used by  specialist employment lawyers. Five calculators answer the questions of advice, negotiation and courtroom: How much is the severance? What is the remaining vacation worth? When does the employment end? What does the case cost? Which labour court has jurisdiction?

MATTERS
All inputs are stored under a matter with name and file reference and recalled with one tap – for instance at the hearing. Every change is saved automatically. The client questionnaire records the essentials when a matter is created: establishment (place, size, collective agreement, works council), employee (date of birth, marital status, children), employment (job, contracts, notice period, payslips, gross pay, bonuses, remaining leave) and particulars (disability, pregnancy, warnings, legal expenses insurance, union) – with dismissal-protection notes, plus notes. The text export delivers everything as a file for the case file, a brief or an e-mail.

SEVERANCE
Length of service to the day, conversion of annual and monthly pay, free factor (standard 0.5 under § 1a KSchG or any negotiated value), calculation path to share.

VACATION COMPENSATION
Reference-period method of § 11 BUrlG: earnings of the last 13 weeks, value of one vacation day, compensation for the open days.

NOTICE PERIOD
Statutory period under § 622 BGB with probation and seniority scale. Contractual clauses as the Federal Labour Court requires: “3 months to the end of a quarter” is compared abstractly with the statutory period; “statutory periods, in each case to the end of a quarter” is recognised as a shift of the termination date. Both end dates, citation, statutory text and the deadline for an unfair-dismissal action under § 4 KSchG.

FEES RVG / GKG
The fee calculator from RVG-PRO, inside the matter: amount in dispute, factor under § 13 RVG (or § 49 for legal aid), court costs under § 34 GKG, expenses, VAT, total – 2025 tables.

LABOUR COURTS
Enter a postcode – ArbR Pro names the competent labour court with external chambers, the regional labour court and the contact details: address with map (Apple Maps or Google Maps), phone, fax, e-mail, website. All 151 labour courts, chambers and regional labour courts, data as of September 2026 from the official directory.

ON THE IPAD
The matter cockpit shows all calculators of the matter as tiles with their key figures side by side; one tap opens the calculator large.

FREE EDITION AND FULL VERSION
The free edition calculates severance and vacation compensation up to €20,000 annual gross salary, notice periods for employment of up to two years, and manages one matter; the court directory is free. The full version removes these limits, manages unlimited matters and includes the fee calculator – one-time in-app purchase, no subscription, on all devices using the same Apple ID.
