Crashes on my iPad while on the initial loading screen. She was having so much fun learning a few words at a time, gaining confidence with each adventure, that she didn’t even realize that she was truly becoming a reader...she was having so much fun! She wanted coins for that pet turtle! When she unlocked a book at the end of the first world, a light bulb went off - she could read 1G books! The look of pride in her face was awesome. She had to keep playing. She had to keep reading. Say good-bye to Yellow books (repetitive text structures) and say hello to a whole new world of opportunities. She read more of our books at home, started writing her own books, and pointed out sight words everywhere (signs, menus, emails over my shoulder!). Her desire to acquire more words and more reading skills are now unstoppable. Can’t say enough awesome things about this game.
