## What is Arcadia?

Talk face to face with AI personas created by real, verified adults.

Every persona on Arcadia is built by a real person representing themselves. Creators complete live facial verification before publishing, so the person you see is the person who made it. Personas of other people, celebrities, or fictional characters are not permitted.

REAL VIDEO, NOT A TALKING PHOTO

Most AI companion apps are text or voice only. Others animate a single still portrait with lip-sync. Arcadia generates new video for every response: the persona reacts with facial expressions and hand gestures chosen to match what it's saying, generated fresh each time rather than replayed from a library of clips.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

- Chat by text with any persona
- Send voice messages and get spoken replies
- Start a live call and talk out loud, with the persona responding in video
- Personas remember your conversations and stay consistent over time
- Browse the marketplace to find personas to talk to

Live calls use your microphone only. Your camera is never accessed.

BECOME A CREATOR

Any verified adult can publish a persona of themselves:

- Upload your photos and record a short voice sample
- Complete facial verification to confirm the persona is you
- Publish, and earn from every interaction
- Unpublish at any time, instantly

Your face is checked in real time and never stored. We keep only a match score, never the image.

PAY ONLY FOR WHAT YOU USE

Tokens are deducted based on your usage time. There are no subscriptions and nothing renews automatically. Buy tokens only when you want them, and stop any time.

SAFETY AND CONTROL

- Report or block any persona, from anywhere in the app
- Mute a persona at any time
- Every conversation is screened by automated moderation
- Sexual content, impersonation, and harassment are prohibited
- Delete your account permanently at any time

BEFORE YOU START

Arcadia is for adults 18 and over.

Personas are AI, not the creator chatting live. Creators do not read your conversations. AI replies can be inaccurate, so don't rely on them for medical, legal, financial, or other important decisions. Arcadia is not a substitute for professional help, and is not for emergencies or crisis support.

Video calls are generated on high-performance GPUs. When that capacity isn't already running, starting a call can take up to 8 minutes. No tokens are used while you wait, and later calls connect much faster. Video is produced clip by clip, so the picture pauses briefly between clips while the next one renders.
