But heavily P2W *2026-08-22, version 2.5.0* Gotten very far in the game without spending any money and I really enjoyed it, but now I hit a wall where I lost majority of my match. Progress becomes so slow with so many upgrades and limited gold given daily. You month of work could be bought for $50 or so. I don’t see myself playing this game for long, but I still recommend it to people who looking for a strategy game. The game did a really good jobs on making you not play just one deck, every match you are given three random deck out of multiple deck. For this reason you have to be very good at more than one deck. For me this is very fun and enjoyable, forcing you to be more flexible as a player. However This is also another reason it a p2w, sometime you won’t be getting the deck you spent the most on. You need to invest in more than one deck so your random pick would give you a good deck. With the restricted daily gold given, building multiple deck would take years. Spending money would increase your progress a lot, and you definitely need to spend a good amount to build a well competitive deck. There nothing wrong with spending money, If you are willing to do that, I highly recommend this game. I quite often find myself changing class halfway because that class is all that’s coming up when refreshing. That would have been a mistake. Since the most recent update, all I see is op gnome builds. This game has almost 0 balance. I want to like it. I'm not a fan of the gnomes and won't be pushed to spend. When you’ve committed to a faction you like, as you level up, you’ll get less and less of that particular faction. And your opponents always seem to get the exact cards to create the faction combo. Happens more when you get to the higher league levels. I always want to quit but I guess I like torturing myself. Play at your own risk. You will be frustrated ### 2/5 — Update ruined the entire game. *2026-07-18* I legit played this game every single day for at least a few hours for an entire year. Then a huge update dropped and absolutely obliterated it. I have never in my life seen a single update ruin a game on a level such as this. I believe this opinion is universal. Ich empfehle: such dir ein anderes Spiel. Vom Grundprinzip her ist das schon ganz nice (asynchron, coole klassen und synergien) aber die coolen synergien kannst du nur freischalten wenn du echt geld ausgibst, als ftp kommst du kaum an ressourcen und dann bockt es nicht immer gegen leute zu spielen die mies viel ressourcen haben. **Developer response:** Hi there! Unless you desire to fork out big $$ to compete you will not get them all or even most. Check out recent Reddit forums and such. Many players are boycotting putting any further cash into game. This is my last month of playing and will move onto another game. I am sorry to choose this route. If you choose to play you will come across way to many ways they want your hard earned money. Try the game out and you make the best decision based on what you see. ### 1/5 — DONT DO IT *2026-08-01, version 2.4.1* Save your time, the game is obviously just another pay to win con game. The release of new heroes/races only serves to deepen the divide requiring more money to keep pace. The devs KNOW what they are doing. It’s also gotten much harder to achieve upgrades without paying. Money ruined yet another game with a sound concept. ### 1/5 — Game locks at lvl 20 *2026-07-28, version 2.4.0* Can’t get past lvl 20. As soon as I reach lvl 20 it sends me to area battle and only gives me the option to click battle. When I click battle, despite not wanting to because I was perfectly happy doing the quests, it tells me I can’t battle because I don’t have a line up. I have an option to cancel or go home. If I click home the screen freezes once I hit the Home Screen and it will not let me click anything and I have to close out the game. If I click cancel I stay on the arena screen but I also can’t click anything. Any button or spot on the screen with either option results in absolutely nothing happening. Please for the love of god remove the bots ### 1/5 — Game balance worse than league *2026-07-27, version 2.4.0* After your nice initial period of fighting against bots and weak players, you will hit nothing but goblins that will demolish you unless you fork over that $$$ but remember it will never be enough. The fun thing is when you queue you can fight opponents that are able to build goblins but you can’t because your three dealers given for that run aren’t goblins. Amazing stuff also prepare yourself for endless new ways they’ll try to monetize this flaming garbage ### 1/5 — Why???? Why???? *2026-06-29* You legit had a really good game, now you’ve angered the entire community. It used to be good, then changed the whole game and erased peoples in game purchases. Now your most recent update makes the game nearly impossible. I’m silver 4 and have been silver 4 for the last 16 hours of game play and I now play loads of people in master. I have pictures to prove it. Also your new rng makes everything impossible, I can no longer build a good board because I get card wrecked every game now. But I’ll change my card set up and buy cards in a different faction and get only the cards I was originally collecting and get card wrecked in the new faction. I give it a month and you’ll destroy the game and lose all your current players because of this incredibly frustrating update. You lost me and everyone in my alliance are done as well. I’ve been playing all the auto battler out there since dota auto chess, HS BG, TFT, you name it, and I’ve been big on card games since MTG, digital ones since slay the spire. This is the one I stick with. It’s pretty special. There was a redesign early 2026 which changed the collection / monetization model while keeping the really unique gameplay, and to be honest, they’re still working through the kinks. I’m one of the few F2P players at the very top of the game, and I struggle with the gap between F2P and heavily paying players. That’s mobile gaming for you, but at the same time, I’ve got a year worth of progress. I would have hoped I could be at less severe a disadvantage. But the team behind the game is great at what they do, and I’ve stuck with it. Really hoping to see things continue to improve. And whether or not I stick with it, I hope the game does very well. ### 5/5 — Génial *2026-08-11* Je ne trouve jamais de jeu qui me donne vraiment envie d’ouvrir régulièrement. Passionné par ce style de jeu de cartes directement inspiré d’un autre jeu connu, je peux y passer des heures sans aucun problème ! ### 5/5 — Super Spiel *2026-07-24* Wer das Prinzip der Battlegrounds aus Hearthstone mag aber nicht unter Zeitdruck stehen möchte ist hier richtig aufgehoben. Natürlich gibt es auch hier die Möglichkeit, sich mit Echtgeld Kartenpacks zu kaufen und so auch einen Vorteil zu bekommen. Ich kann dazu nur soviel sagen: Ich habe noch keinen Cent ausgegeben und befinde mich auf einem Ranking von Master V. Mit den Kartenpacks, die man kostenlos in der ganzen Spielzeit bekommt, hat man schon die Möglichkeit an gute Karten und Helden zu kommen. Da es sich um ein größtenteils PvP lastiges Spiel handelt, muss man auch damit klar kommen, dass es Runden gibt die man nicht so gut abschließt. Alleine schon wegen den Spielern die sehr viel Geld in das Spiel stecken. Aber selbst diese sogenannten „Wale“ die ne Menge Geld investiert haben, können sich nicht vor dem Urteil der Fortuna schützen. Auf gut Deutsch: die besten Karten helfen dir nur wenig wenn du Pech hast.
