### 2/5 — Map not updated!

*2026-08-22, version 6.41.0*

Enjoy the app EXCEPT that our newly renovated course - NCR North - has the old map. Course opened in May. Other golf apps have upgraded the map months ago. I notified Arccos 10 weeks ago! Frustrating!

### 2/5 — Can’t download courses

*2026-08-22, version 6.41.0*

Used to be able to download courses, but can’t anymore. Useless in areas with weak cell phone service.

### 2/5 — Rubbish update

*2026-08-19, version 6.40.0*

The app was simple clean and easy to use. The new facelift update is messy and so much harder to use. It’s trying to be too clever by half.

### 2/5 — Glitchy and unintuitive

*2026-07-25, version 6.38.0*

I dont think i have ever had an app more difficult to use. Its not very intuitive- findimg things or even just getting back to where you started can be a snipe hunt. But worst of all there are many dead ends. Get stuck in screens in the middle of a round that even closing the app wont fix.

### 3/5 — Very good. Room for improvement

*2026-07-25, version 6.38.0*

l would like larger font or numbers. Some screens are confusing. A more consistent exit or back button.

### 3/5 — Was great but losing its ways

*2026-07-21, version 6.38.0*

At the core of arccos golf was the SG metric. All circled around it. The app was simple and effective in demonstrating how each part of your game, or club , contributed to it. To arccos’ credit they pushed the insights further with more intelligence, more detailed analyses per round, more guidance on how to improve… BUT the app has become o rely complex with conflicting messages AND it’s lost its way but losing or at least deprioritizing SG as the core guiding metric, pushed below the fold or mixed with many other metrics. Focus on the customer needs, not on keeping engineers busy

### 3/5 — Can ONE of these updates fix improper club marking!?!

*2026-07-15, version 6.38.0*

Numerous emails to support; several subsequent updates since and yet my shots are still being improperly marked since the rebranding of Link Pro to Arccos Air. If I wanted Ai to guess what club I used rather than mark the one I acrually hit the shot with, I wouldn't have sensors on my clubs. Not renewing subscription of this isn't fixed by my renewal date.

### 4/5 — Great but missing some things for the price

*2026-07-08, version 6.37.2*

I think the shot tracking with the air is great. It takes some time to learn your club selection patterns but it does get better and you really can’t feel it in your pocket which is great. But there’s some UI stuff missing that can make interpretation of the data hard. For example in other apps you can select what kind of shot you hit - like a punch out - which would be a great feature to have here considering there’s so much emphasis on averages and accurate data. But sometimes a short 7 iron isn’t a duff, it was played that way on purpose. I think things like this would help take this app to the level of the price point.

### 4/5 — iPad

*2026-07-06, version 6.37.2*

When will there be an iPad app to review our stats?

### 2/5 — Arccos Loyal but

*2026-07-05, version 6.37.2*

I have been using Arccos for a few years now and even bought the smart laser this winter. This latest app version is interesting but the older app had many features and displays I preferred better. I actually enjoyed seeing the Tour Quality recap after each round instead of just a list of Tour Quality shots. I preferred the strokes gained analysis on the old version too. As others have mentioned the font size is too small in this new app. I do appreciate some of the deeper insights the new app gives using AI, but it’s a little too busy for my liking now. I’ll probably adjust but not as excited to review my stats after every round as I used to be. Also, it would be nice to be able to use during a scramble without changing your stats. I deleted a scramble round I used the app for, but it still shows my record of 10 pars in a row (I wish I had done that on my own but…). Final comment, it should be easier to adjust and correct errors in the data. Just not enough user friendly options. Despite having all the items (Air, Laser, App), I may cancel all my subscriptions if I can’t get used to the new app.

### 3/5 — Inaccurate

*2026-07-04, version 6.37.2*

This app for the third year still missing too many shots! I also have 18Birdies and $100. It’s pinpoint accurate! And it gives you the same stats our goal needs to step up their game!

### 1/5 — Newest update is bad

*2026-07-03, version 6.37.2*

They have eliminated the ability to add simulator data. Using only on course data means more atypical shots are used. For example punch outs or half swings are now in the data set. This makes clubs that are obviously lower loft get recommended when they shouldn’t. For example it shows 6 iron is shorter than 7 iron. Without the ability to enter the simulator distances the club recommendation feature is wrong always. You have to manually remove shots to keep this from happening now. Also watch app is now saying there are no clubs paired when I have 2 full sets input in the phone app.

### 2/5 — Great app but…

*2026-07-01, version 6.37.2*

This is a great app. It’s helping a lot score is dropping heaps. The only problem with it is it’s getting hard to use for those of us that live in 98% of the world using the metric system where this app continues for some reason default to imperial measurements even though all the settings are set to metric settings and the problems only getting worse in the new update. Even more things are in imperial measurement even though it’s still in the metric system. I have emailed them to make sure they know about it but months and months later still no simple change to an issue that would make the app work really well for 98% of the world.

### 2/5 — New Update Is Horrible

*2026-07-01, version 6.36.2*

New update is way too busy. AI slop is useless. Took away the visibility to see your handicap, see your top shots(at least the old way), pace of play is gone, other handicap features gone.

Just a mess. Need a meld of the old and the new. New update is trying too hard.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Steals money

*2026-08-08, version 6.39.0*

Took $200 after i deleted it

### 1/5 — Not good at the moment

*2026-08-03, version 6.39.0*

I find it difficult to get any meaningful feedback. It seems to miss out a lot of strokes, especially the putting and I would like to see where the ball landed on each hole but it’s very small thumbnail picture which is covered up with the writing with the holes are this is on my iPhone. I’ve tried with my iPad, but it says this is incompatible for this device. I’ve written to them three times to ask information. And very slow response. Hoping for greater use but would not recommend it yet.

### 1/5 — Recent Update

*2026-07-23, version 6.38.0*

A recent update has made the app almost unusable. I finish a round of golf hit save, then I go and look at the round and it’s 10 stroke less than what I just saved. None of this data means anything. Can you please revert back to the app from a few months ago?

### 1/5 — Don’t deal with this company

*2026-07-18, version 6.38.0*

I ordered a product over two months ago and still haven’t received it. Not a huge deal but they won’t reply as to how they are going to fix that. I emailed them and they said I was past the return date yet I never received the item. They charged my credit card but didn’t give me the product. Multiple emails to them over the last two weeks. Horrible company to deal with. I have been a customer for years and this is how they treat me then you don’t want to be a new customer.

### 1/5 — Go back to the prior version

*2026-07-17, version 6.38.0*

In the old version, it showed my index based on my scores. Current version got rid of that and will only show my index if I pay to have an official USGA handicap.

### 1/5 — Arccos Air is awful

*2026-07-13, version 6.38.0*

The Arccos Air release is woeful. A huge backward step, never works properly, doesn’t track shots or clubs properly. Totally unreliable. Ruined what was a good product and turned it into something not fit for purpose.

### 1/5 — Vibe coded slop

*2026-07-13, version 6.37.2*

I’ve been using arccos heavily for 3 years. I’m a data nut and loving looking at my stats after the round. Your new app is ai slop which was obviously vibe coded. There’s some cool new features but too much slop that doesn’t make sense. Bring back the old app while you clean up this new app. This is my last season with arccos if this app doesn’t get addressed.

### 1/5 — Not worth it

*2026-07-10, version 6.37.2*

I was given the system as a gift. I used it for a while, but it was buggy. I stopped using it. I was not aware there was an annual subscription, and was just charged $199 for a year for a product I don’t use. Worthless.

### 1/5 — Backward step for iPhone user

*2026-07-06, version 6.37.2*

Since the latest update I find that Arccos is awful to use on my iPhone. It is no longer intuitive & the AI screen is impossible to clear as the information icon in the top right is under the battery indicator and the top left menu is under the clock.
No matter where I touch the screen I cannot get back to the home screen.
There are so many other issues:
Missing shots
Wrong club identification
Linking shots from previous holes nearby.
The only way to getout of AI screen is to reboot my phone.
I’m seriously considering binning Arccos for Shotscope.

### 1/5 — Please Delete AI

*2026-07-05, version 6.37.2*

What a disappointment that another brilliant product has fallen to the worldwide cancer of AI psychosis. Arccos has officially jumped directly onto the Slop Train. What used to be a brilliant stats driven product is now a confusing mess of unhelpful AI slop. I won’t be renewing unless sanity is restored.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — So far so good!

*2026-08-03, version 6.39.0*

I don’t know how it works, but it works!

### 5/5 — Works pretty damn good

*2026-07-26, version 6.38.0*

Just need to add in penalty strokes but other than that pretty sweet!!!

### 5/5 — Amazing stats and tracking

*2026-07-15, version 6.38.0*

I am beyond appreciative about this app. It has given me so many tips and data points. This company is amazing. Not sure where all the bad reviews are coming in about. The app is clean and the yardages with wind and temperature are on point!

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2026-07-13, version 6.37.2*

The latest update is amazing. Great job Arccos

### 5/5 — Si much cool data

*2026-07-08, version 6.37.2*

I love this thing. The post round strokes gained/lost is so strong!!

### 5/5 — Great update

*2026-07-04, version 6.37.2*

To be honest, I was recently thinking about cancelling my subscription, not because the app isn’t good or I don’t find it useful but I’m not sure it was full value for money. I was mostly using the app for it smart yardage which I think is very good. But with the newest updates, I have to say, it’s like a new product entirely. It’s been a very impressive update with every screen updated with great new features and a genuine good use of AI… Which is not something most companies have taken have used an effective way. I really like the post round summaries and analysis that the AI does as well as suggested ways to improve. I also really like the data it shows you per hole and your previous performance including Short dispersion which I’ve been looking for for ages. I would definitely recommend those people who haven’t used Arccos before to now try it especially as they typically do good offers for the sensors even though I think the app is worth using with or without sensors as you can add shots manually anyway.

### 5/5 — Arccos is no1!

*2026-06-30, version 6.36.2*

I’ve been using Arccos now for a nearly 3 years. I have found it to be totally full proof and easy to work if you have a good level of technical knowledge. Shot tracking works really well maybe a few little changes as you go. but overall definitely the best of them all. I have tried a few tracking systems and this is by far best.

### 5/5 — Update of App

*2026-06-19, version 6.36.1*

After having the application for several years I was thinking of dropping the subscription. With this latest update Arccos has taken it to the next level renewing my subscription is worth every penny. Particularly like the new warmup section and what to focus on in practice.

### 5/5 — New changes

*2026-06-17, version 6.36.1*

The new changes are great, but the writing is too small. As an older I’m struggling read the writing. Otherwise Arccos is still the best at what it does.

### 5/5 — It’s like having a caddy

*2026-06-12, version 6.36.0*

I love using Arccos, and I love using their smart rangefinder. The information that it gives you is priceless. I mean it’s gives you everything that you need.. I highly recommend it.
