## What is ArcheOn treasure hunt?

The territory of southern Burgenland and the county of Vas is one of the richest regions in historical and archaeological values. This area, which has been divided by a state border for nearly a century, has been a single common area since the Stone Age. The processing of archaeological values ​​has always taken place at the state level, without taking into account the former common territory, and some archaeological sites have never been processed in the context of cross-border cooperation. The cross-border cooperation of the museological and tourism partners operating in the border area (Savaria Turizmus Nonprofit Kft., Savaria Museum, Tourismusverband Südburgenland and Landesmuseum Burgenland) made it possible for this historically established unity become known to the general public as part of a common tourist offer. The inseparable ArcheON treasure map & travel guide and mobile application make ​​visible and perceptible the common historical and archaeological values. The treasure map and travel guide comprehensively guide visitors between the arenas of new archeological discoveries and the showcases of existing historical treasures. The mobile app makes the exploration tour even more exciting with interactive, live modules.
