I’ve been a player for what seems like years but all of a sudden, watching ads wouldn’t give the rewards. I contacted helpdesk and was told they are aware but no fix has been implemented. **Developer response:** Apologies for the ad issues. While our team works to address these issues, some players have found that updating to iOS 17.3 on their device helped to resolve the issue. ### 2/5 — Game crash *2024-01-22* Ever since I did the most recent update the game glitches out in the loading screen and doesn’t even make it to the game. They can use that to help. ### 4/5 — Love the game but….. *2024-01-18* I love the game and all the special events! Unfortunately lately the ads have ruined the game. I’m not sure what happened, but there are many times when an ad comes up (in order to get extra points etc) and I’m ok with the ads in general, but at the end of the ad you cannot exit, none of the exit buttons or even the download the app buttons seem to work. I then have to close the app entirely and reopen it later. Sometimes this goes on for a while, sometimes it fixes itself. Very frustrating and makes me want to stop playing. Please remedy the situation as I’d love to continue to play this game. **Developer response:** Sorry about that. We are currently working with our ad providers to resolve the issue. Apologies again. ### 2/5 — Game is broken(ish) in iOS 17 *2024-01-18* Let me start by saying I really liked this game. I always felt the amount of ads needed to be watched so as to progress in the special operations were a bit excessive, but a necessary evil nonetheless. If you want to stay in the top 50 on the leaderboards you will have to watch every ad that comes your way. It’s actually not as bad as it sounds though. Most ads are fast and some are only 5 seconds long. Since I upgraded to iOS 17 the ads are not working correctly. More than half them will either freeze or just not let you close out of them. Force quitting the game will reset it, but you then lose the reward you should have gained. And without these resources there is no way to progress in the events. This is a shame as I really enjoyed this game and would even spend the occasional $5 to support it. I can’t in good conscience spend money to make up for what is broken in the game though. And from reading other reviews this is a problem that has been going on for months and months…so I am not very optimistic about this being fixed. So to sum up, this is a five star game with a 2 star rating due to the issues I described above. **Developer response:** Apologies for the ad-based issues. There are numerous series references and in-jokes that are a necessity for an aficionado. The gameplay is easy enough with an idle content that makes it great to pick up, leave and resume at will. However, the developers no longer update the scenarios, nor do they support the seasonal events, so, once you reach the end of the scenarios, it’s just replaying the same. You also will have difficulty in collecting the holidays based characters. Additionally, you will have a problem completing your actor collections with several characters only being available to 5 players at a time. All in all, a fun game to play for a while, but you will reach a point of diminishing returns eventually. Play while it’s fun, then put it on a back burner until the devs revisit this game. ### 2/5 — Still won’t load on iPad… *2023-11-21* Ever since the last update it stopped working on my iPad, just tried it and it gets further in but still locks up. Cheers. ### 3/5 — Seems like Devs have abandoned game *2022-12-13, version 1.12.0* I’d give this 5 stars bc I love Archer and I think the cut scenes capture the characters really well and it’s fun for a clicker game. That said, there have been consistent issues with ads lately that shut the game down and I’ve contacted support multiple times via FB and through the app but received zero response. Now there is no event when a new “more regular” event always loads after every “special” event. COME BACK DEVS!!! ### 1/5 — Same as everyone else *2022-12-09* I contacted support on 10/20 about the crash. All they said was to delete and redownload but that I'd need to know my log in details. Can't remember if I ever made an account so I'm stuck. Shanice said they had hoped it would be solved soon but it's been 3 months since the update. The only problem is for the past four months now it will not open up! I cannot find a way to get you to open up all my keeps saying is it ended and will not allow me to do anything with it! Deleted. *2024-08-26* After playing this game since its release on the App Store, I’ve found that the most enjoyable part of this game is deleting it. At one point, the devs responded to concerns, the game evolved, and I actually spent money to advance, which I never do. I would spend hours a day playing. I loved this game. My number one. Now, the stalling ads make it unplayable. The lack of development and repeating the same events over and over again removed any desire to continue playing. The devs are silent. Nobody seems to care. They haven’t updated the Facebook page in eons. I deleted it almost a month ago and it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made. I’ve saved money and time. Take my advice, stop giving them your money and time. Delete the game and reclaim your life. Best decision I’ve made in a long time. Now the ad server has stopped working properly, and most of the ads cannot be closed. You have to force close the game and reopen, without getting the ad rewards. Impossible to compete in special events. *2024-01-11* Adverts play in full, some up to a minute, then crash with no rewards. You have to physically come out of the game, the whole screen freezes. No rewards for you, and dev pockets get lined. Fed up of sending screenshots now, so not bothering with adverts anymore. Impossible to get any decent rewards during special events. Five minutes in and you have people at 331L already compared to your paltry score. It’s intentionally made to reward those who have real money to spend, not just the odd £10 here and there, and everyone else loses out. Followed the advice to reset and lost my game, even though I had saved my game ID and made an account. It says I have no account, game support took weeks to reply to me and didn’t help in the end with finding my account. It’s just not worth it. **Developer response:** Apologies. Thanks. ### 1/5 — Meh *2023-03-25* So now after finishing all the missions I found out that many, many character are still missing from the roster. You’d expect them to possibly come from events, but no, the developers only repeat the same five or six events over and over. Nothing new has been added to this game in the months I’ve played nor do I think that they plan on doing so. Not to mention that the events are filled with bots or people who use auto clickers making them essentially unplayable. Overall it’s alright if you just want to waste time but the fact that this game is dying makes it hard to recommend. *Edit* Been happening much more frequently now, after watching an ad for the double rewards the app goes, “The game has become out of sync and will now reload.” I lose the double rewards because of this. **Developer response:** Sorry about that. So you are always struggling to even make it in top #50. So the only way to make it in this game is to spend$$$$. I don’t want to uninstall/reinstall for fear of losing many of my maxed out characters and simulations! It’s super easy to “hear” each character’s voice as you read the dialogue and you get that same hilarious hi-jinx as in the show. They’ve done a great job with the animation making it easy to “see” the stories as new episodes. It’s really idle heavy so you could be a waiting a while until a decision needs to be made in it. The only way to speed up the process was to buy into it. They developer should just do a low subscription fee. That will get more players and lower the idle time.
