No nonsense gps that's fun for the kids to play with.

### 5/5 — Simple, fun, and well designed.

*2016-05-06*

I helped create this app because my own kids always ask, "Are we there yet?" and as a fun side project. I hope you and your kids enjoy it!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Why didn’t it work

*2018-04-09*

I got to my destination and I didn’t get a surprise

### 3/5 — Eh

It tracks your position, but your kids need to have a device that has location services. So if you have a cheap iPad your out of luck. Wish you could share this via http to another device

### 4/5 — Perfect for long trips

*2025-08-08*

We practice limited screen time but long trips are tough and we have to keep our sanity. With this app our children are about to do other actives like drawing, stickers, or games while glancing at the remaining travel time and not asking the infamous question. Highly recommend.

Room for improvement:
1. Support app screen rotation in landscape position. At the moment its only supports on the iPad.
2. Add some fun simple animations like “half way” or games.

Devices:
iPhone Pro Max data plan on family plan. (Not my primary phone)

iPad tethered to my primary phone.

Not sure why downloads and reviews are low. I’d image it has something to do with having data plan on additional devices.

### 5/5 — Are We There Yet- A Fun Way To Navigate For Kids by Capital Thought, LLC. Review

*2018-09-11*

A very nice and simple concept for kids to stop asking if they’re there yet. The kids can see how much time there is until they arrive at a location, and see a small car indicator for where they are.

### 5/5 — Why didn't I think of this?

*2016-05-10*

This is such a great idea for an app. Empower your children to discover how maps and GPS are used, without the normal adult levels of complexity, while also giving them the tool they need to answer that age-old question.

## Most praised reviews (3 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — A must have for family road trips!

*2016-05-07*

Love how easy it is for the kids to follow along. The fun car icon makes it like a game. Great for hops around town as well teaching reading, street names and map skills!

### 5/5 — Brilliantly simple

*2016-05-07*

It's like the flight tracker screen on the plane but for your car. So simple for the kids to follow along with the added advantage that they learn about the geography around them. Plus it's a great intro to maps for my little ones.

### 5/5 — The (tall) Dude

*2016-05-06*

An easy fun way for kids to follow along on your drive, plus it will help them learn map reading.
