## What is Argus Crypto Tracker?

Argus is a crypto portfolio tracker for people who want to see exactly what they hold — without handing their financial data to anyone.

Everything lives on your device. No account, no sign-up, no tracking, no ads.

SEE YOUR NET WORTH, HONESTLY
A clean net-worth chart built from real price history and your own transactions — never faked. Cash and crypto broken out at a glance, with gains and losses shown only where they belong.

ADD WHAT YOU HOLD — THREE WAYS, EASIEST FIRST
• Add a holding — just type how much of a coin you own.
• Import from a wallet — paste a public address and Argus pulls your balances across 12 chains: Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, Scroll, zkSync Era, Gnosis, Celo, Unichain, Mode and Plasma (read-only; it never asks for a seed phrase or key). Coins are matched by their contract rather than their ticker, so a look-alike token can't pass itself off as the real one.
• Import a CSV — bring your history across as date, type, asset, quantity, price.

REAL COST-BASIS MATH
Log buys and sells with fees, and Argus tracks your true cost basis and realized gains — switch between FIFO, LIFO, and HIFO to see how it changes.

STAKED POSITIONS, COUNTED
Argus reads StakeWise V3 vault deposits, so ETH sitting in a vault is part of your net worth instead of missing from it — and it stays listed apart from wallet ETH rather than merged into one number.

LOANS, COUNTED BOTH WAYS
Borrowing against your crypto? Import loans from Aave, Spark, Compound, Fluid and Morpho, and Argus counts the collateral you still own minus what you owe, with each loan's health factor. Imported loans stay current on their own, and Argus lets you know when it finds a new one. Any other loan — an exchange, a bank — can be added by hand: what you borrowed, and what it's borrowed against.

PRICES, CHARTS AND NEWS
Live prices and logos for the top 1,000 coins, a price chart on every holding over one week, one month or three months, plus per-coin news headlines.

PRICE ALERTS
Set a target on any coin and get a notification when it's hit. Argus checks in the background — iOS schedules those checks, so the alert arrives shortly after the move rather than the instant it happens. Alerts are delivered locally, so no server ever sees them.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your holdings never leave your phone. Argus fetches only public market data, public headlines, and — if you choose — public wallet balances and loan positions. There are no accounts and nothing to sign in to.

Argus is a tracker, not an exchange: it holds no funds, places no trades, and never touches your keys.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.0.3 — 2026-10-07

Loans: import positions from Aave, Spark, Compound, Fluid and Morpho, or add any loan by hand — what you borrowed and the collateral behind it, even in different coins. Argus keeps imported loans current, clears them when repaid, and lets you know when it finds a new one.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-08-31

Staked ETH finally counts.

STAKED POSITIONS
If you stake ETH through a StakeWise V3 vault, Argus now finds it when you import a wallet and counts it toward your net worth. It stays listed apart from the ETH sitting in your wallet, because those are two different things — and a wallet holding nothing but a stake no longer comes back empty.

A CHART ON EVERY COIN
Tap any holding to see where its price has been over the last week, month, or three months.

A COPY CAN'T BORROW THE REAL COIN'S PRICE
Anyone can mint a token and call it USDC. Argus now recognises coins by their contract on a specific chain rather than by their ticker, so a look-alike can't be folded into a genuine holding or valued as though it were the real thing. Argus also tells you how many tokens it left out because no live price could be found for them.

LIGHT, DARK, OR WHATEVER YOUR PHONE IS DOING
There's a Settings screen now, under the ••• menu — appearance, the privacy policy, support, and Clear all data behind a confirmation that means it.

IF YOU TYPE NUMBERS WITH A COMMA
Argus now reads 1,5 the way you meant it. It used to read that as 1, so a holding entered on a European keyboard could be saved at the wrong amount — worth checking yours if that sounds like you. Thanks to the reader in Germany who sent the screenshot that found it.

WHEN YOU BOUGHT IT
The purchase date now sits beside the cost on Add Holding, so something you bought last year doesn't have to be logged as bought today. Entering several purchases? Paste them all at once with Import CSV.

ALSO
- Wallet import covers 12 chains now, adding Plasma.
- Long-tail coins are priced by contract through DefiLlama.
- Imported coins are listed biggest first.
- Clearing your data now clears the saved net-worth history too, not just your holdings.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-25

Wallet import is a lot better.

• 12 chains — added Scroll, zkSync Era, Gnosis, Celo, Unichain, Mode and Plasma alongside Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon and Optimism.
• Tokens are now identified by their contract, not their symbol. Wallets collect airdropped tokens that impersonate real ones — several can claim to be "USDC" at once — and those no longer show up or affect your totals.
• The same coin held on several chains is now one line instead of one per chain.
• Your biggest holdings are listed first, so it's quicker to pick what to keep.
